  1. That isn't a supercharger he does his washing in that. A fan that draws 30 amps? Have they even heard of a MAF? Muppets.
  2. I love sexy 'pixuals' made me giggle, and none of them are dead whohoo!
  3. Does a non GT get fogs and xenons then? I'm not keen on the colour, but I already have one so not bothered, and +1 on the 'what I paid for mine a few months ago'
  4. Not sure about the cross hatch design, but agree it should be a bit mad, and less than half price from new, bargain!
  5. Or get some Tein Coilovers and an EDFC setup so you dont have to get your hands dirty! Not sure if they do them for porkas though OT, the S4 uses ride height adjustable coil overs as standard, upgrades are bilstein or koni with hypercoils and can be specified with different spring rates depending on use.
  6. I see what you are saying, I have uprated my daily cars in the past resulting in harder rides and damaged alloys when the tyre profiles are reduced and hitting pot holes. The roads round here in the South East rattle my fillings on the standard setup as it is so I have not intention to make that worse! It is up to you, just giving my opinion. I will however upgrade my 928S4 as I enjoy using that on the track and it would benefit from some adjustables so I can dial it in for road and track use.
  7. I think the handling is good, even if you want to do some track days on the standard setup. If you want to make it look more aggressive maybe just put some spacers on and save yourself some money?
  8. HD camera I presume, nice quality, but a bit
  9. OK, so if I was looking at a bit of improvement I could not do wrong with some say Alpine e range? (I quite like Alpine) as they are about £30 a pair, and can you improve the bass depth and speaker response with a bit of noise killer sheet in this car? I am sure some of the weakness is reflections within the body shell.
  10. The clue was when my CD player was replaced and they had to get the part from Clarion. I have had a Clarion HU before and it was ok. Why would replacing the speakers improve the sound? Ok they would be of better quality, but then you are into upgrading the amp, maybe putting a sealed enclosure in somewhere, but surely speaker placement plays a large part? My Lexus had a woofer driver low down in the door, a mid about door handle height and tweeter in the bottom of the A pillar, same in the back door, a centre in the middle of the dash and sub in the rear shelf that used the boot as the box, but you can't very easily replicate that sort of setup on a budget in the Z. I looked into changing the setup in the Z and it was easily 1K for low end but quality kit.
  11. Nooooo, I can't stand his voice, he makes me cringe.
  12. I came from a Lexus IS220D and in my opinion the Bose (if it is indeed Bose) system is rubbish. The bass lacks depth, but then it is a small open air one, and there is no clarity in the midrange. When you put the volume up it gets even worse becoming very unstable and harsh. Saying that I don't think I will bother to change it, mine had the skipping even when it was warm, my CD unit got changed under warranty and has been fine since. (I do need to book it in again though as the centre console rattles sometimes and it didn't before). I spent money on systems before and I change my car fairly frequently so I will leave this one as I wont get the money back when I sell it.
  13. Welcome! I can't get no winter traction, all the way through 1st, 2nd and into 3rd...
  14. Not absolutely sure about appealing to the market, and it depends on the size of your ensuite. You already have a bath so a shower I think would suffice, however another idea is to take the freestanding bath back and install one of the packages from a local merchant that fits flush and put a mixer on that.
  15. I don't understand? It looked like an expensive gift and it was double bagged. I bought an ironing board for the wife last year, she has never used it and my shirts are still creased up. The year before I bought her a slow cooker and that has stayed in the cupboard. I bought her a car for her this year, and she went out to do some shopping, but she is taking a long time about it, that was a couple of days ago and the washing up is really starting to smell.

Are those LED side lights running down the headlights? It looks like someone on the design table smudged the wing into the headlight and left it with a strange curve that really doesn't come off well in the pictures. And what is that funny square bit in the bottom middle of the rear bumper? That bar in the boot; is that to stop your shopping smacking you in the back of the head when you brake into a corner? I do like the synchro downshift rev matching and the wheels, but you can keep the rest of it.
  17. Rust is a different colour, and even it isn't when it does rust it will blend in? Anyway IMO it is better than the boring silver, grey, and black that almost all cars seem to come in these days (of any make).
  18. I know it was voted by members, and I don't care if there are more by a particular person, but I am bothered that no sunset cars made it in.
  19. Not much of a drive? I did nearly 400 miles and was only there for a week. I really wanted to do L.A, San Diego, then Vegas, the San Fran and back to L.A (covering some of the national parks on the way but I would need 3 weeks to do that, which I had but it ended up a last minute trip and we had to wait for the wife to get her passport. I did the driving so there isn't really any pictures of the cars on the road, and the one in the picture of the building is a bit small, but having said that I will see what I have and possibly post some. I saw an Aston in San Diego a few times and it seemed he was just driving about and popping the throttle off the lights to make some noise, which echoed off the buildings.
  20. Just came back from California, or to be more specific travelled on the West coast around L.A. to San Diego and back. I saw loads of 350Zeees, even noticed I have one in a photo I took of a building after I returned and was reviewing them. Most were standard, some with different wheels and one put down some rubber on a red right turn as I was waiting to go straight on which was nice. I rented a car, which at booking said Dodge charger or similar, so when the rental place said any car in row 6 and I saw that also included a Ford Mustang, I just had to choose it, being a fan of Bullitt and all. It had a 4.0L V6, 210bhp 5 speed auto, and was crap. It had 30K on it, rattled, wobbled and one of the wheel bearings whined at anything over 45mph. The only upside was putting 10 Gallons of regular in for 28 dollars. Can you spot the 350zeeees?
  21. I am not sure what they will do if I don't pay, but from speaking on another list for my 928 I have had a few answers and one had this type of thing and didn't pay it, they just sent increasingly threatening letters. He waited it out and nothing came of it. They say there is photographic evidence of the car entering and exiting, but do not say that it includes indentification of the driver. I am the registered keeper so the letter was sent to me. I have the ticket in front of me now so I can quote some of it. it says photographic evidence shows the vehicle entering the carpark at 09:46:59 and departing at 11:28:17. The maximum time permitted is 1 hour 30 minutes, so by calculation is it demonstrated that the vehicle has remained at the store for longer than permitted. On the specified date, you were the registered owner, keeper or hirer of the vehicle in question. As such you are responsible to ensure that the terms and conditions for parking as set down and clearly displayed in the car park are complied with. Therefore you are required to pay the following excess parking charge within 28 days from this notice. The charge £70 or £40 if paid by 15th Oct. Payment of the parking charge will be taken as acceptance of your breach of the terms and conditions for parking in the named car park and that the information contained herein is entirely accurate. Then details about the numbers if you wish to challenge it. It also says the details of the vehicle have been provided by the DVLA. Over the page it says; if you fail to respond to this notice legal proceedings may be issued against you in the county court/sheriffs court. this may result in; 1 you having to pay more in the end because of court costs 2 a court judgement/decree 3 your possessions being seized I think the last bit is to make you scared. They would have to prove who was driving and loss of revenue wouldn't they? Someone sent me this lifted from piston heads; To whom it may concern [Add their title and address] I am in receipt of your letter dated [insert the date] alleging that a vehicle registered to me overstayed an arbitrary duration in a vehicle park attached to one of your stores. As I am sure you will be aware, it is the driver of the vehicle with whom any contract to park was made, not the Registered Keeper. You will also be aware that the terms of any such contract must be set out in such a manner as to be obvious to anyone with whom you wished to make the contract. These terms must comply with all applicable contract law, such as the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977. Should you wish to pursue this claim, please supply evidence that the person parking the vehicle you allege to have overstayed the set duration would have had the opportunity to read the contract terms. Such evidence must be, as a minimum: a detailed route and timings of the vehicle's travel into and through the vehicle park; a detailed route of the driver's passage out of the vehicle and into the store - this and the evidence listed immediately above are to show that the driver had reasonable opportunity to see and read the contract terms; photographs of all relevant signage in situ in locus in quo at the time of the alleged overstaying so as to show that the signs were actually readable; an accurately-drawn, scaled, map showing the location of each sign and indicating which you believe the driver would have had the easy opportunity to read (the routes of the vehicle and driver should be superimposed upon the map); details of the weather conditions at the time, in particular the visibility (all to be confirmed by the Meteorological Office); sufficient details of the driver with whom you claim to have made a contract to enable their unique identification; a detailed description of the processes followed to record and analyse the evidence of the alleged overstaying; and a notarised statement from a senior manager at the store to the effect that your recording and analytical systems were working normally at the time of the alleged overstaying. Without the above, I cannot entertain your claim and any further demands for payment will be considered harassment and will be reported to the police with a view to your criminal prosecution under s1 of the Malicious Communications Act 1998, s85 of the Postal Services Act 2000, s127 of the Communications Act 2003, and/or s2 of the Protection from Harrassment Act 1997 - this last with a view to the court issuing a Restraining Order against you. Additionally, civil action will be taken against you personally and your employer to cease and desist and for the recovery of all costs, together with a substantial payment in compensation for the mental pain and suffering caused. I expect your reply by return, either providing the evidence requested above or indicating simply your termination of this correspondence. [then sign it] Some of it seems a bit OTT but I guess will make them do a lot of work or give up?
  22. There is no payment system for the carpark, nor barriers.
  23. They look nice, but I would be too afraid to drive the car with 30 profile tyres on these roads they would get dented pretty quickly. Got fed up with denting the rims on my last car I reverted to stock and sold them (after getting the dents out) I expect you would need a lowering kit after fitting?
  24. The ticket was issued through a third party company that use 'parking eye' technology so I guess ANPR. The times of entry and exit are down to the second. Dunno about the address, I suppose they pay DVLA for it, and as for 'they can't by law' can you explain? I should think the carpark is private property and is signed in various places regarding the time limit imposed. It does say in small writing at the bottom, payment is acceptence of terms but longer than that and I can't remember it all as I don't have it to hand. I have told the missus to ring them up and tell them she isn't going to pay it and will no longer be a customer of the supermarket (Aldi) but if it is third party company I am not sure if they will care about that!
  25. NUMBER 7 I only have a few of mine so far, but out of those I like this one the best;
