If they won't sort it for you just get yourself an FM transmitter you can plug straight into your iPod. I just picked one up and doubt I'll use my CD player much cos its wicked!

My brother lives in Chepstow so I get to go over quite a bit. Probably be heading over a bit more now I have the Zed.

I’ve had my Zed for just over a fortnight now and generally loving it, but there are a couple of questions I have: Firstly, over the last few days with the great weather have been driving around with the windows down. Have noticed that when giving it the beans that I hear a slight whine from the transmission, sounds a little bit like a supercharger if I’m honest, although my car isn’t supercharged! Does anyone else get this or could it indicate a problem? Secondly, the Bluetooth phone kit. Unfortunately the dealer I bought my Z from lost my manual. I have found a PDF of a American manual online but it has no mention of how the Bluetooth system works. It would be pretty handy to get it set up, anyone know where I can find a guide? Thanks.

The thing to remember about most cars is they better in some colours than others. For example while a lambo looks great in orange it wouldn't look right in red. But a Ferrari looks great in red but would look terrible in orange. The Zed is one of those few cars that looks great in every colour it was released in. Some will have a preference but there is no such thing as a bad colour on a Zed. Therefore I don't think colour affects price so much.

When I was recently considering whether to buy a 350Z I was also considering a Boxster or older (996) 911. For me I just couldn't make myself like the looks of the Boxster, its just too damn feminine. I would LOVE a 911 but getting a 10 year old one with close to 100k on the clock for similar money to a 3 year old Zed, well it was no contest. Porkers are fabulous cars but not worth the badge premium IMO.

I managed to knock off a grand which I am happy enough with and all HPI clear. Anyway picked her up on Saturday and enjoyed the two hour cruise back to Bristol. Such a different animal to my old Cupra R, its going to take me a while to get used to her. Went for a few more decent cruises over the weekend, took out a couple of mates as well who both fell totally in love. I was going to give her a wash and wax and post up some picies but did too much driving so will do it over Easter instead.
