  1. A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates: You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads: Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads: Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids. 'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.' So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads: Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking. 'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going. She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads: Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework. 'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!' Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads: Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak. She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads: Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store. PLEASE NOTE: To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street. The first floor has wives that love sex. T he second floor has wives that love sex and have money and like beer. The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.
  2. is there soemwhere on site to get a bite to eat?
  3. On Andrwes last update, he was offering all that remained as a job lot, so there might not be anything left!
  4. O right thanks for that put my mind at ease a little. Not sure it worth mentioning this but i have just had a look under the bonnet and ontop of the plenum there are some black rubbery spots that look burnt that just come off....maybe something may have been in my engine bay thus burning hence the smell?? hope so Look, this may be totally innocuous, but I had an odd smell which I got used to, no obvious fault visyally or instrumentation wise ,and 4 months later, having got used to a dodgy Rad cap letting small amounts of hot vapour into the bay, ended up paying £2k for a replacement Head gasket. Get it checked! properly! were you running the turbo at the time. May be under different stresses to the OP. Yes, but I wasn't suggesting that there was necessarily anything in common, just that you can't afford to ignore 'odd' smells or signs of something not quite right. Or if you do, you do so at your peril.
  5. makes sense to me....from FI view But why? and do you mean BHP or NM? from the NA perpective that is?
  6. I am well tempted, but the Nismo helps in that respect, the sound from that is none to shabby as it is. I am thinking i will need sports CAT's to go with the 5Zigen tho, i want it LOUD. I must admit, I always fancied the Kinetix Cats, not too sure whatthe knock on effect might be though. I keep seeing references to these lowering back pressure, an dtherfore torque, then I get puzzled becoz the whole point of my True Dual exhaust is to go Hi-Flow ( preusmably therefore lowering back pressure) Are you running an APS TT? If so then decats and true dual will only help you... if you havnt got that and are running N/A then its decats that have an effect, HI-flows are fine (well on mine they are anyway!) Yep, I run - APS Twin Turbo - APS True Dual 2.5" Zorst so why do others say HiFlow cats/ Decats limit torque?
  7. My words were a little bit stronger at the time !!!

  11. Encouraging Martin - I'll try tomorrow!
  12. Well, Allegedly yes!! This is unbelievable, but true! Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 600 employees and has the following employee statistics . 29 have been accused of spouse abuse 7 have been arrested for fraud 9 have been accused of writing bad cheque's 17 have directly or indirectly bankrupted at least 2 businesses 3 have done time for assault 71 cannot get a credit card due to bad credit 14 have been arrested on drug-related charges 8 have been arrested for shoplifting 21 are currently defendants in lawsuits 84 have been arrested for drink driving in the last year Which organisation is this ? It's the 635 members of the House of Commons, the same group that cranks out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us inline. What a bunch of bastards we have running our country - it says it all. And just to top all that they probably have the best 'corporate' pension scheme in the country!! If you agree that this is an appalling state of affairs, please pass it on to everyone you know. It's time to stand up to this lot !
  13. Anyone had problems getting Nissan to honour parts warranies. I had most of the Offside suspension replaced in April last year under an insurance claim. In December discovered the (part of claim) Rubber boot of the lower ball joint ( part of Hub Carrier assy 40114-AL55J was split top to tail. Spoke to the repairers this weekend an dtook the car in for them to photo. Nissan's response makes me think they are going to do everything possible to wriggle out of it. None of their sites are anywhere near me. To replace the rubber is a 10 minute job. They seem to expect I will just leave the car with them whilst they START to TRY an dget a warranty claim passed. Whats my 4 year old car's service history got to do with a 12 months parts warranty? Any comments ? See Below ====================== Hi Peter, thanks for the enquiry. The part is guaranteed for 12 months against mechanical or manufacturing failure. We can certainly try and remedy this for you. Nissan’s warranty procedures are strict & allow little leeway. Obviously we have copies of the original invoice for the part (so no problem there). Your customer will need to book the vehicle in with the service department at one of our sites. (Which ever is most convenient for them?) & provide their vehicles full service history. We can then proceed with trying to claim the part under the manufacturers warranty and gaining authorisation. I have attached below our weblink which can direct your customer to our nearest site: www.westlondonnissan.co.uk I hope this helps, please make the customer aware of the original invoice number so the relevant site can reproduce this.
