  1. I put a pretty naff mobile piccy in BATCH 4 - above the right hand end of the FMIC and on line with the headlights sits a BOV I'm told. Whistles a lot! MAF=?? So the nose is on, The Dyno's are done and i'lll put them up tonite. along with a better pic of the Bay. Bit of a shock on the way home when the Oil temp warning went off, but apparantly the Oil warning should not have benn set at 100c but at 120c Normal operating temp being between 80 and 115 - apparently http://s282.photobucket.com/albums/kk276/Martin_W_350z/350z%20batch%204/

  7. I hav been hassling DSA. I was supposed to bepicking the car up yesterday A.m. then this morning a.m. now it might be tonite. mite be monday and I have said I have people screaming for piccies, but i can't force them out of thin air

  11. J3/M3 is there somewhere on this forum where Offsets are explained. I like pictures best ( even of wheels) when peeps upgrade Brembo discs and pads - is there a generally accepted best choice?

  13. I'm keeping the boost pegged to 380. I don't see the benefit of going forged iinternals on a road car, when all i want to be able to do is show a few local Audi 3.2 TT's where they belong in the grand scheme of things So yes would prefer not to have to do the brakes, but from a cosmetic point of view, I do quite like the flush look some of the piccies i see when u fit wheels like the MRR GT1 (or Ruff's or Sharks) in black with machined lips.( Is the term 'staggered'). Anyone there who can tell me what I need to ask if I want Wider, say 9.5 or 10 inch on the rear, and i want them flush with the arches, and I want clearance for the brembos. (Assuming they prove to be up to the job).
  14. Thats where I need advice, Its obvious they need upgrading. But i'm only just beginning to learn about offsets and all. So i'm planning to drive with a big cotton wool pad under my right foot until I decide what to do. Lomoto's black Ruff's 19" looked pretty good, and Ive been talking to a guy on ebay (DPMOTORS) about 19" sharks. Any idea what the RAYS are worth ? The tyres have all just been replaced and have less than 1000 miles of wear.
  15. Well I only got 3 photo's today and i put them up! There does appear to be turbo like bits going on to the motor :-) but i 'm bu**ered if i can tell u any more than that. I got these foties midday - must be half day closing in Aylesbury!! M
  16. For those of you who are interested, i'm puttting up the foto's i get of the conversion thats happening now as I get them at the link in my profile. Just don't ask me whats happeing I can't tell if the foto's are upside down or what !!

  19. Yep- Ive begged and begged for some in conversion. Even suggested he might get more work as a result. !!!! :-) I'll chase him later.... And yes. I'm told Internals can see another 4500 out of the bank :-(

  22. HI Digsy, David of DSA who bought out GForce, say theyve done about 15 in the UK I think DSA's bread and butter is EVO and mostly WRX's. I saw a couple of other motors up there looking pretty good with the APS FMIC logo shining through the grill when I dropped the car off on Friday. I'll be taking it easy for the first month or so - want to live!! - and having driven the (admittedly 500bhp demo car, not the much more modest 390 I'm aining for!) it's going to take some getting used to:)

  24. Nice to see a few joined today. I'm new on, based in Surrey. had the car 6 months and have just started "tinkering" with it. Its in with DSA in Aylesbury at the mo for the APS twin turbo conversion. just started to think about wheels (got to start somewhere!!) i saw a nice set of 20" MRR GT1's in blackon ebay. Anyone know anyhting abt them?
