  1. Maybe post54 cars are diff (for the better)! My warmer switches have lights too I had a 2 month spell with 6 or 7 AA callouts, when I thought I was looking I thought at a 4 figure auto electrician bill for some serious diagnostic work. Popped along as a last measure to change the battery, and as I carefully put the old one on the passenger seat, and as i did thought 'hangon.. why is that seat warm!!!!
  2. I think its a Nokia fit, but most peeps get a standard Nissan part, a bluetooth adaptor, £95 or so on ebay from Holdforth, a NIssan dealer. will pair with any bluetooth phone and get your steering wheel buttons working +1 but if you turn the cradle over it should tell you on the back which phones are compatable LOng time since I looked, but I'm sure mine won't move, totally fixed!
  3. you aren't accidentally leaving the seat warmers on are u = the manuals warn this will drain the battery. they work - heating away - even when keys are safe at home. (happenede to me)

  5. You just need to buy a standard Nissan 350z bluetooth adaptor. They'll pair with the blackberry easy. See the answers to your other post
  6. Blackberries work fine with the standard Bluetooth adaptor - Yes!
  7. You need a NIssan bluetooth adaptor ( £90 ish) which will broadcast to your Blackberry. Try ebay and search , I think NIssan Leeds always have them
  8. Yup thats where I got mine I think someone on here makes them now and again. Cant remember the chaps name though pbannistuk mine was about £45
  9. Yup. Its easy though, only 3 bolts on each side along the top of the light To remove the connectors turn them 1/4-1/2 turn and it should just come out. Assuming you used my guide, I cant see how you can get it wrong http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... indicators sounds like he had problems getting the cables out of the brake light chris, they are tight Yep - thought they were glued in at first - replaced now tho
  10. cluster removal only a 2 minute job. But I now need to find someone who can squeeze their hand into a tiny gap underneath the clusters
  11. AHAH!!! will give it a go next break in the downpour!!
  12. I'm trying to change both Stop/Tail - for an LED equivalent I got from OZ. (Trying to work out how to remove the light grey 'plug' from the back of the light unit AND Swap the indicators out too
  13. I think my arm would end up staying there if I pushed hard enough to reach it. What about removing the brakelight? is it just a very firm twist? or a bit of leverage somewhere?
  14. I'm obviously not cut out for this. I set out today to 1) Change my 04 Stop/Tail for a T20 LED 2) Change the Indicators for the SIlvatec Chrome indicators that a lot of you use Rear lights off - no problem - even in the teeming rain. I followed the instructions in the guide section on here to find that there is no way I could get my arm far enough down to change the Indicators. And I can't work out how to get the Stop/Tail light out of the housing for fear of breaking something. Any ideas anyone?
  15. I lost most of the gear on the driver side. Ended up with just about new everything. Exhaust, Cat, and all bits suspension wise. Insurance ended up paying £8800 if I remember. I never was sure how much was really needed and how much was the 'Approved repairer' taking the Insurance co to the cleaners. But luckily... both wheels kept air enough for me to get to work....
  16. Well - I'd be alloy-ing if I said thats not wot wheely happened!! That and the rear. and thats what happens if RAYS meet 4 bricks still joined together at 70
  17. Well - I wonder what I'd be charged for refurbishing this!! This was the result of careless rubble hauliers littering the M4 earlier this year !
  18. Thats the general idea - damage removal . I must post up the piccy of a wheel i 'scraped' against a block of rubble at 70 mph on the middle lane of the M4 near Reading earlier this year. 5:30 in the morning. That woke me up! But if you have a look at the pic posted above by Ebized, thats the sort of damage I assume he was trying to get rid of - successfully.
  19. Anyone recommend a mobile wheel refurbisher who will come out to the Berks/ Surrey/ Hants borders. I was poking around yesterday and saw someone refer to a guy who had a van and a spray booth (in it?) but bu88ered if I can find it again today!!!
  20. I've just seen this. I'd just like to add that my thoughts too are with you. Hope all goes well. Martin
  21. nice, but you know, I like the lines of the Z better...
  22. Yes, but on initial approach, although they had been signed for they didnt know anything about them. Absolutely denied it... And they signed for them using my name, not their own !!!!!!!!!!!! wombats...
  23. Yep - will be taking my time over that.... Look forward to seeing these wheels once they have under gne a tad of a change, a nice set of wheels bud I'd like to echo thanks to ESR for the support too !
