I've seen posts on a forum that the new Bluetooth cradle is now available. Does anybody know this for sure? Does it work with pre-2006 models? Any information gratefully received.

I have a 5 month old 350Z, is it definitely going to be compatible with the pre-2006 model? If it works I want one. Does anybody know the Nissan part number yet?

As soon as anybody gets word on this I would love to know of release date and when Nissan delaers will have it in stock.

I don't mind paying a little over the odds if i can at least get a cradle to work with Bluetooth. Q from passenger: What are those two buttons for then? A. Nothing - just decoration.

Alfa Romeo GTV 3.2. I'd had two of the 3 litre ones before so time for a change. M3 - expensive by the time you add some equipment and let's face it looks wise not much different to a standard 3 series. Boxster S - again extras epensive and the back end design is poor, plus a soft top. Audi TT - just too common now. RX8 - they must have let the YTS trainee design the back end. Generally ruled out soft tops due to London living but the S2000 nearly made it to the short list.

It's only as hard as Nissan make it. THB have the Bluetooth cradle now and plenty of others to fit most phones, basically it is just Nissan dragging their heals. I keep making complaints to Nissan as they set great store about having an integrated phone kit. They don't mention that you're stuffed trying to use any phones with it. I would suggest everybody that has a few minutes to send a complaint in to Nissan. Customer.Support@Nissan.co.uk The more we complain then we may get a hearing. Next stop Watchdog!!!!

Doesn't work. I've also tried the THB Bury Bluetooth cradle and again no luck. No surprise there then. Which is a shame as it's a good bit of kit. Still cracking away at Nissan in the UK to try and get some movement.

Thanks for the info. I can sense this has been a major frustration for many already and I am only just learning about it now. Still I've had the car just over a week now and this and the petrol cap release button going through the dash on first use are the only issues so far! Seems like a forlorn hope but I'll give it a go anyway. Someday they might see the light. Seems daft on such a good car to annoy your customers by not giving them something which is already readily available technology. Especially as in press releases there are often comments on the integrated phone technology. Am I right in believeing the pre-installed element is the THB Bury Uni System. If that is the case then there are literally loads of cradles available supporting nearly all phones including Bluetooth. Is it just that Nissan are encoding the system and so limiting the handsets that can be used. I have sent some queries in to Nissan Customer support to see why they are doing this if it is the case. If this does seem to be true then I'd encourage others to badger Nissan to see if we can get them to support all the other cradles that are already available. There may be a way to get the unsupported cradles working as one dealer I spoke to advised me to go to Carphone Warehouse as they may be able to help with cradles to support other phones. Send queries to Nissan and see if we can get them moving or you may have to wait another year!
