  1. Are the original badges hard to take off? (Is it a DIY job) If these can be done DIY style is there a specific adhesive?
  2. Sorry... I meant to say, I hope these are not stupid questions and have not been posted before.
  3. I was thinking of replacing the bonnet nissan badge with a Z badge (if there is such a thing) or another alternative? (any suggestions?) the question would be where can I buy a badge? The rear Nissan badge...is it just stuck on to the boot? can I just remove it? I hope these are stupid questions and been covered before, as I searched more my answers before posting this.
  4. Disagree...the car is all the risk not the person i.e. You can't monitor your car 24-7, your car might catch the eye of some jealous S**t unlike the person. Regarding the DOC on uninsured cars, the car needs to be mot and roadworthty obviously so it would need at least to be insured as a temporary car on your own insurance for at least 1 mth to get the tax and MOT. One other little stipulation..the car must not be leased by you.
  5. I stick by what we underwrite. You can drive a car TPO if your policy allows you i.e over 25 yrs old, not in the motor trade or student. You must have the owners permission and the car is only covered TPO until the policy holder or named drivers get back into the car after you. Strange but true....You can drive a car TPO (as long as your motor policy states) as long as the car is owned by another party. Insurance companies will not broadcast this as it is not good business. If you are unsure....Call your insurance company, you would probably have to ask the insurance advisor to check with underwritting, they should be honest with you as all calls are recorded by FSA legislation. At the end of the day its always better to insure the car, if you have a wife or partner some companies will give you a 2nd car discount which should equate to the same amount as your own. I hope this helps those that are sceptacle.
  6. Actually.....You would be allowed to drive it as long as you are not the owner and keeper of the car. I work RBS insurance and its a bit of a loop hole. If you need to know more let me know.

    Which phone?

If you need it to work with your BT adaptor don't get the Samsung D900. It connects thens disconnects all the time.
  10. Hi thanks for the reply. I don't think its a power issue. To get it working once I deleted the profile Nissan350z, searched for devices, automatically found the Nissan device, asked for code, connected transfer service list and no problem, the next time I got into car it asked for authorisation code, connected and then disconnected. I have even updated firmware on phone, thinking that might help. The phone connects to my tom tom 910 with no probs, so it just leaves me wondering what is going wrong. I was just hoping someone could confirm that the device does not support the D900. I will keep an eye on the tread, who knows. Thanks for your input though.
  11. Has anyone had any problems with connection to a Samsung D900? Just got a BT adaptor and for some reason it finds the phone, asks for the code, connects then disconnects. Only once have I got it working. I have tried finding bluetooth issues on the samsung site, however none recorded. Has anyone got a D900 and having this problem? Devastating!!!
  12. I thought this would be of interest to those who would like another contact for the Bluetooth Adaptor: Just copy and paste http://www.mjpshop.co.uk/gcat/product_i ... 845351e891
