I have to admit that the roadster with the roof up (which it will be most of the time in the UK) is not as attractive, in my opinion, as the coupe.
Having said that, the few days (or weeks if we are really luck in sumer) that you get to enjoy open top motoring, it really is worth it.
Ive not had a summer in mine yet (only bought just over a month ago) but have owned a convertible for the past 6 years.
My order of "attractiveness" would be:
1) Roadster with top down
2) Coupe
3) Roadster with top up.
Once you have had open top motoring, it really is difficult to go back to hard top, without being jealous of old escort cabriolets in the summer!
So we had a convertible this time too.
