  1. I have the same problem with the estate, no gritters for about quarter of a mile to the main road. If we get lots more snow, I'll be buying the missus a metro or such like for the winter months. (its her daily driver you see).
  2. You can say that again - 10.5 crikey, thats about 270, 275 if Im not mistaken - and I thought the 245 rays looked wide. Bet you have some fun in the snow!
  3. Hi Steve, Welcome aboard. I wasn't around long enough on the previous board to get to know lots of people - only had the car a month or so I like the wheels, what size are they on the rear - they seem to fill the arches a lot more than my standard wheels... (got a set of rays in the garage to fit at some time too). Chris.
  4. Careful... Blue is popular ooop north
  5. Hi ballswinger, glad to know you'll be sticking around - please understand my first reservations. Why not pop into the welcome section and get some pictures added to your free gallery space! Chris.
  6. did someone mention SQL error? We get them too you know.... Not for long hopefully!
  7. I do hope that ballswinger will be an active member of the community after taking the opportunity to make his first post an advert.... We are a free forum, both to view and to register. However, accounts being registered just to take advantage of this fact, without wishing to contribute to the forum as a whole, will be removed. On this occasion the advert can stay, in the hope that ballswinger will be an active member. Should this not be the case, in future the 15 posts minimum to advertise may be strictly adhered to in order to prevent this. Thanks, Chris.
  8. Southpaw, One of our partners - 350z-tech.com (in the US) has a guide on brake pad installation here: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Tutorial ... stallation (Thanks to Josh for allowng us to link to the site). I hope this helps. Regards, Chris.
  9. Only pulling your leg Steve. I understand people are not alloed to post a link to our site on the OC. I hope the new owner finds an insurance company that meets his needs.
  10. Would be nice if vikram285111 could find his way here to ask too....
  11. Steve, on the golf forum I am a member of, there is a chap called neil from Greenlight insurance, they are very Mod friendly, may be import friendly too.
  12. This may need looking into, as this has been mentioned before - The delay in script processing for a long distance host may result in the script being passed over and over until it crashed the box. However one of the admins is in Europe at present, which if this were the case, should result in something similar - as would dial up connections. I'll look into this, but it may just be an unlucky coincidence?
  13. Ahh ok. I thought it was worth checking. I suppose there is one way to tell for certain, but I doubt the neighbours would like it...
  14. Oh it is useful, thanks for taking the time to post - unfortunately its the same error time and time again, hopefuly it will be banished some time soon.
  15. Sorry, I probably didn't make myself clear - I'm referring to the indicator flashes, not the LED.
  16. Yep - unfortunatley this still persists. We have spoken to the hosts about it, and it appeared as of yesterday that things were sorted, as I was monitoring the connections yesterday and found that it did not fall over at the level which it had before. This appears to have resurfaced again, which will involve another nice chat to our hosts. At least its fast, but these errors are unacceptable. One method is running the place on a dedicated server, which would mean all you lucky folk having an increased attachment and gallery allowance - but would mean that the unluck folk on the admin and moderators team may have to go without jam for a few weeks. We continue to discuss this amongst the mods/admins and we hope to hav these resolved soon.
  17. On the missus' old car (mx-5 with clifford alarm) when you lock the car (and arm the alarm), it flashed twice. When you unlocked the car, it flashed once. If you came back to the car after the alarm had been set off, when you unlocked the car, it flashed three times to tell you that the alarm had been set off while you were away. My question is, does the Z do anything like this? Aparently she has searched the manual, but can't find any info.. Thanks, Chris.
  18. Having a rear wiper nicked is not a problem for me...
  19. I also think thos long nose bodykits make it look like a fish. The kind of "ooooo" face that goldfish pull when they feed... Wouldn't want to pull onto or out of any steep drives or ramps with one of those on - ouch!
  20. Ahh well, chips away every 12 months or so it is....
  21. Welcome to the forum, be sure to get some pictures up once you get your car!
  22. Thats true, but Im starting to wish wehad GM or Blade so the stone chips didnt show up quite as badly.
