hey guys. at christimas time i look to get this twin-turbo. im also going to get 19" volk gt-7 wheels suspension and brakes to go with it as i dont want to modify it, so that would be everything im to do. what i was wondering the best compromise of suspension sets and the biggest / best calpiers and discs suited for a 350z. (i know the brembos are good but i also want big brakes to sit in the 19" but to also be the game for stopping. thanks guys

haha. So mantientence on that front isnt high up. Thats good too know, as I take it easy when starting up from the engine being cold anyway, so I would just have to get used to doing it when coming to a stop.

Oh yeah guys, forgot to mention - with a twin-turbo whats the deal regards to spooling up / down. Do I need a turbo timer? I heard that apparently it interferes with the alarm or something so if I got one does that mean that my alarm / immobilizer couldnt be used because if the only other option is stilling in the car waiting for 2-3minutes everytime I start it up / turn it off dont think it would suit be. As im not the most patient of people

Thanks for all the replys guys. Will look into it more. E-mailed WRC and got a rough pricing of 14-16k to be able to handle round about 600BHP+ this being a stroker kit shipped accross also. But im considering just getting a standard twin-turbo because its not exactly going to be slow, and I dont want something crazy fast already, cause it means in the future any car I get will be compaired back and regarded as slow :S so I dont want this to happen. So this will need to be considered also. Thanks for that too rev good to know that there is somewheere localish too, might take a drive through and see whats what, I like to get a feel for a place by visiting and its alot closer than travellling to England

At the end of the day its a BMW. My dad always got them and when I was younger I dont ever remember breaking down or having problem, and were talkin glike most of my childhood! They are great cars. End of. Might been diferent also if you got like a scooby. So cliche! Haha

I tryed PGR3 and I thought it was so bland. thought it was a chore and effort to play the game. But im a GT man myself. Got NHL2k6, Dead or Alive 4, TCGR and Kamieo or soemthing. If anyone wants a game online let us know. Alothough literally in the 4months I have had it I have played it 4-5 times, im fussy when it comes to games. Really waiting now for Test Drive Unlimited, looks quite good!

all this hastle Because when I renew my insurance for this car, still full comp is like 45% less compaired to what im currently paying so it would be much much cheaper than buying something with 450-500BHP standard as 99% of them will be 20's on the insurance group! Well as long as I can comfortably spend 8-10k and get round about 380-420 then I will be happy. cause I must not forget im in Scotland so Ferrari's and Lambos arent exactly common Only other thing can anyone recommend somewhere closer to home for me. And if your reading this Rev where is that specialist you take your car too? Would they do TT? Cheers. Alex.

So im looking at around 10k or so and being able to get round about 450BHP at the fly. So more than that would be crazy money.. See when I hear this I think, na sell it, but cause the 350z is already the underdog, and not laot on the road can push it around, 450BHP would make it a hell of a car which still turns heads, and isnt common as apposed to half the performance cars on teh market, e.g. scoobys and porsches. Thanks for the help pre - will send a few e-mails and see what companies offer what, also it wouldnt be happening tomorrow. But I would like to see this happen before christmas for definate.

Thanks for the reply prescience. So without going into crazy money what is the realistic BHP that I could apply for no more than 12-14k. Because if I was to spend 25k, if you add that plus say I could sell the car for about 18k that is aroung £43k that could easily buy a high performance car so would be pointless. Many thanks.

Hey guys. I have been thinking about it alot recently. I want to get a twin-turbo systme pu tonto my 350z. I was considering selling it and getting a performance car that is 4WD such as a Porsche 911 Turbo or the Audi RS6 (has to be estate). But then decided I will get a more practicle runabout for winter and save myself alot of money and get a car I already love with a TT. Have read previous posts and considering taking my car to WRC Technologys metioned by urbanmyth and co. But I want it to be at least 500BHP at the wheels. so about 560-600BHP or so at the fly whatever it happens to be about. Does anyone know what would need to be done on top of the TT at arounf £8400-8500 and how much its likely to be about. (e.g. £10000-12000). As I currently think the 350z is a class car. I have raced so many things and never been beaten,always been near neck and neck, I mean only yesterday I saw a brand new WRC Sti Scooby and soon as it got over a certain speed the car just anhiliated him, so a TT I think is the perfect solution to bring the acceleration to the high end speeds right up! Hey. Just wondering if everyone knows rough spec of a Ferrari 360 Modena as I was under the impression that their 10-110 times were around 16.16-5 seconds. But on the way home tonight i done a little test using my stopwatch for the first time. 10-110 for comparrison. Although just as I got 110 the watch was just going onto 15 seconds! And I done it all realitivly accurate, started putting the foot sooon as the timer went from a rolling 10MPH. So if anyone knows what the Ferrari is, as I love my 350 but I think a 360 could not be 16 seconds!! What you guys think?

cheers prescience, no im not but was curious on this cause i seen a car that was twin supercharged and thought of a good way for more power and originality.
