  1. There will be plenty more Mick, hope the cleaner sorts the doors our for you. I find the cause of this sometimes tends to be the "cockpit shine" stuff that is sold in Hlafords. Whilst it can put a shine on interior trim, it should be applied by spraying the cloth first. If it is sprayed onto the door cards, where it first hits the plastic, it can leave the small shiny areas and blotches that you describe. Always best to just use a damp cloth on the interior plastics, or any spray on stuff applied to a cloth first in my opinion. Chris.
  2. Injen Full Dual. Quite loud, but not overly boomy in the cabin, well, it was bearable on a 230 mile motorway drive.
  3. Im bringing some noise too...
  4. Hi and Feel free to ask away As always, great to see another new owner join up!
  5. At £20k, it should be snapped up. For a 2007 car its very cheap. Pics and a contact number may help the add though.
  6. Nice wheels too. They certainly suit a Kuro.
  7. Nope - but I did see it heading toward Sheffield at a roundabout on my way to work a couple of mornings ago. Only ever seen it once, and havent seen it again since either. It did look nice in the Nismo with the alloys to match.
  8. Rish, if you want to email me the pics (chesterfield"at"350z-uk.com) I can add them to the post for you. or the files can be attached to the post if not too large.
  9. What both your mates are saying sounds about right - 4 wheel allignment would be good. Also wearing around the centre of tread but not the outer could also indicate slight over inflation (the tyres are ballooning slightly, therefore more downward pressure from the weight of the car is being applied to the centre of the tread) see here for various exmaple wear patterns and pottential causes: http://www.dunloptyres.co.uk/ourTyres/car/tyreCare/
  10. May be worth sending a PM to all those without the +1 listed against their names? TheMinel Kev Zedrush Jacko Liam's Z mini sgdavies choptop
  11. My Canon 350D outputs pics of about 3.5MB in JPEG. A RAW (near enough BMP) will come out at 12MB I'd suggest whacking the photos in Photoshop and resizing them, and also reduce the image quality a tad that will bring down the size. Ah yes - I have yet to enjoy the delights of a "propper" digital slr camera, although Id like to get one. I remember some phots my riend sent me in JPG being huge also. Let us know how you get on Mark, there are plenty of us round here who can help out if you dont have any luck.
  12. Val - are you recommending the CHEAPER option for once? I think Ive woken up in the twilight zone today Just pulling your leg. If its a daily drive then I couldnt live with overly harsh suspension, and it would appear that most here are perfectly happy with the standard setup.
  13. Also, try saving the pics as Gif or Jpg. At 4mb, they sound like BMP files or similar. If you use photoshop or even MS paint, and save as a jpg or gif about 800 pixels wide, they should be fine. Hope that helps.
  14. For someone rarely stuck for words, its never easy to find any that seem appropriate at times like this. Very sorry to hear the news, and my condolences to Phil and his family.
  15. You can have a look at the plates I have had done with the sites name on, they have the propper silver Z logo as part of the name. Sadly it appears they will be in my boot and not on the car, as the wheels at the DVLA seem to turn a little slowly. Back on topic however - can the following people update Mark:
  16. Having had a Ray replaced, they apparently cost about £700+Vat from a dealer for a new one. I bought a set from Ebay for £990 - but as they are now standard on 06 cars, they probably go for less now.
  17. They will indeed be available on the day. As long as Val remembers to bring them - but he is reliable in the marketing department. There are a variety of colours and options of inernal or external placement. Some of us also have plates made up for shows, and also standard number plates with the site name placed on the bottom, so folk can have a look at those and see what they think too.
  18. Me too - think I may invest also - thanks for the tip
  19. Give my number to anyone who may need it for the Saturday or Sunday. No problem
  20. Hi and welcome - always a pleasure to see new owners. As others have said - Bluetooth is standard on 06 model - some early ones came without I think as they were in short supply, but the dealers provided them for free to those owners once they tuned up. Your dealer should be able to source one for you.
  21. Thats a ruddy bargain! Should bring some of the Ultra Yellow fans out of the closet....
  22. Oaklands 7pm then? What time at the Slug and Lettuce for those that get out later? 9pm? If we offer two times and fixed points, people can meet at the most convenient.
  23. Of course its your place to suggest it! Just like everyone else can suggest ideas for the community. The admin and moderator tags over on the left only mean that we help run it, the actual running comes from members and their ideas/suggestions. It also means we get to pay for the server etc though Back on topic, if all those listed above can let Jacko know the current situation and respond to the PM that would be appreciated, as the venue is being very accomodating it would be nice if we can be as acurate as possible with the numbers to help them out. They are catering for well over 50 people after all.
