  1. I have this front lip fitted to mine, and can vouch for the quality of the product, nice and smooth, as its urathene, its prety sturdy too - it will take some serious knocks to the bottom without cracking which is useful, as it is quite low on the sides near the wheels. You will need to take care at speed humps, but thats the same with just about any front lip.
  2. Not a fan of that colour, and the ride looks a little high. Also, whats with the infiniti logo on the steering wheel? Interior is quite nice though.
  3. As above - looking to some time within the next 7 days for a go live. Only one major issue to finalise at the moment, just sorted another minor addition tonight. Will have a look at the garage section, but cant promise anything at opening time. There are a few other additional functions which should hopefuly improve things for everyone.
  4. Thanks - just a few more bits that the team are sorting and everyone gets to see it for real...
  5. What a great idea! I may have to invest shortly before show season to try them. Perhaps something worth bringing to shows etc too as I can see this being a popular way for people to try all the various bits out.
  6. Let Mike know when he returns from hols, and Im sure we can get them sorted out for you guys
  7. Yup - we are in the process of moving to new software, which should cure many issues. Internet Explorer is the MAIN reason why we havent made the move yet. Trying to get templates for pages to line up correctly, and everything look neat in I.E when you modify template pages is a ruddy nightmare due to the way I.E handles the various files. At present, we have a 99% ready to go version of the forum on the new software that is working without any issue in firefox. View it in I.E and its just totally different. Its ironing out these slight problems with the display in I.E that is causing the delay now.
  8. Try a citrus based degreaser under the car and perhaps along the top of the wall that it is jumping to. Cats hate citrus, so it should encourage it to find a different route.
  9. All - in order to ensure the issues experienced by members dont get lost amongst several threads posts etc, we have created a specific section of the forum for those affected. Those affected should be able to see a new section on their forum index. This should hopefully allow for a concise list of issues to be compiled, which should also allow for swifter resolution. It will also ensure that the section can be kept focussed on the isues at hand for those members. If anyone else requires access, please advise either myself, Mike or Neo and we can arrange access for you. Hope this helps guys.
  10. To add, unfortunately the only postal address we used for Phil was at the work premises.
  11. When leaving mine in the garage for extended periods, I leave the handbrake off, in neutral and chock one of the wheels front and rear. The fronts still seem to bind a little though if it is left for a very long time.
  12. Congratulations on the Z, and the bonus mods.
  13. GReddy. Though there was some news that Trust (the parent company) went bust, but there seems to have been a reorganisation and they may still survive. I got them shipped from the USA, as finding a supplier in the UK at the time was a nightmare unless you wanted to pay silly money and still wait for them to be shipped from the states anyway.
  14. As above, you can only move the selector from Park to another position if the brake pedal is depressed and the ignition is on. Not that Im experienced with the 350z Auto box, but if it follows convention, this movement from Park to another position is made possible by a solenoid being in the open position when the brake and ignition conditions are met. If for any reason you need to move the lever from Park to another position without having the brake depressed an the ignition on - then thats what the shift lock button is there for. Hope that helps.
  15. Apparently there was talk that more than 10 mm total track difference between the front and rear would upset the TC, but Ive never seen any real evidence of this. When I was talking to Phil at ESR about track, he advised that he had 50mm spacers on the rear of their Z, with 20 or 25mm on the front (I forget the exact front with now) and the car hadnt missed a beat.
  16. And no, this isnt a photoshop.
  17. As far as I have found, the list price from Ferrari for a set of replacement carbon ceramics on th F430 is $29600 for the discs all round and a further $3600 for the pads all round. At current exchange rates thats about £25k, and it wouldnt be a surprise to see we pay the same in £ as they do in $, so at £33k, its not a cheap replacement. Though I havent found any actual UK replacement figures for the Ferrari parts. As the GTR Spec-V discs are more or less the same items, its no shocker to see those prices.
  18. Prices for pads and discs allround on the standard GTR are apparently quite high. There have been posts on the GTROC giving information that has been provided by the Nissan High Performance Centres: With prices like the above for "standard" discs/pads - I can see the combination of carbon ceramic discs and Nissans pricing on their sports car parts making the discs on the spec-v a little steep to say the least.
  19. mine are 20mm front and 25mm rear: Front Before: Front after: Rear before: Rear after:
