    Help

I have a Nissan 350Z 2007 convertible roof stopped working is there any body who is in Birmingham it would be a great help
  7. Last week
  8. Thanks Keith, will do. I did wonder if it was just some kind of heat shield. I pick the car up at the weekend, can't wait.... it's up in north Nottinghamshire and I'm in south-east Kent, so early train up and road trip back. Took a long drive there and back to view it last weekend. Fortunately it was worth it
  9. That grotty tinwork in your photo that's rusting in layers is just a shield that goes from nearside to offside, just cut it off and throw it away. Its sole purpose appears to be to make MOT testers fail cars.
  10. Hi can you tell me the cost for 5th Bow Actuator 2oo7 please and repair

  13. Hi everyone, the above warning lights came on this morning. The car appears the drive ok and the brake fluid level is just below max. Do anyone have any suggestions. (The TCS switch does nothing). Sorry for the upside down picture ( I'm not from Australia)
  14. First time ever on track with the Continental SportContact 6, what a difference.
  15. I have pre-owned OEM power window motors in stock for your 350Z convertible. Good to go same/next day. Just drop me a message if I can help you further Alex.
  16. Uk 2005 convertible window motor stoped working with window stuck fully open so need a new motor I think. Forget the crazy prices for nissan parts, there are lots of cheaper motors but I am having difficulty in establishing if they fit the vert as well as the coupe. Not over worried if the glass drop on opening/ closing not a feature as it has never done that any way. Whos replaced their vert motors ?
  17. Thanks Andy.... you're right, they're 20 years old so there's going to be some rust. I don't think this one looks too bad, but having lost my FTO to the tin worm I thought it worth checking. Do you know what the part in the image attached to the original post is? That's obviously more than surface rust, but if it's a non-structural part I'm not too worried about it. The car looks good otherwise
  18. Hi and welcome along. You will do very well to find an old car without rust as you probably very well know. Some suffer from rot and some suffer from surface rust as you said. Most are fixable. This looks like surface rust and most of the consumable parts are replaceable. Good luck in your search.
  19. Hello all. I've been hankering after a 350z for ages. My dearly beloved FTO which I had for 15 years recently exited this earthly realm due to the dreaded rot, so I've been looking for a Z as a replacement. Been offered one approx. £5K, it's on 70K miles. It's quite a distance from me so I wanted to ask you fine people what you think of the underside - owner has sent me a video, which I've shared here via YouTube: It looks like surface rust (?) apart from the ARBs which don't look great (might just be a wire brush and lanoguard job though) and this bit (attached image) which is a bit more worrying. I'm not sure what/where that is though. Is it a concern, or perhaps just a heat shield or something (forgive my ignorance, I got to know the FTO intimately but I'm new to these...)? The arches look OK. Any opinions gratefully received Tim (Kent)
  20. I found one in my garage clearout the other day, it's new - original vortech. Do you know what size you want?

  24. 2nd Event of the year Is there a better Circuit in the UK than Anglesey when the sun is shining?
  25. 370 more comfortable for me but not as controllable as the 350. Despite more rear end grip on 370.
  26. That should work fine, however, I have plenty in stock if you wish to replace it. Just drop me a message. In stock and good to go same/next day. Lower sump pans are also in stock.
