Nice build so far, looks good Rear bumper needs something to balance the front/sides and the spoiler. Too many zeds leave the rear bumper standard and for me it always looks incomplete and top heavy with a bigger spoiler Even rear spats make a huge difference

Looks great!

There are a few things in the plans going forward but that brings us to everything done up until the day this thread was first made Here's a teaser for the future...
-
An ISR burnt tip exhaust was a much needed change over my quiet milltek (much to the dismay of my neighbours) This one is a bit of a love hate relationship as it sounds amazing when WOT but I do find it to make more noise than I'd want while cruising at 70 - hoping I get used to this one
-
Managed to get my hands on some DEPO smoked headlights to make the car look more modern - aside from the fogging issues, I've got to say I'm in love
-
The rear end has looked really empty considering all of the other mods - so I treated myself to a V2 Nismo Style rear wing with a Carbon blade. I won't be naming where I got this from as the fitment of the part and the service I received from the company that sold it to me were far below expectation (plus it arrived 10 months after ordering despite being quoted an 8 week lead time) With some heat (and stronger screws) my spoiler found its way onto the car

With much work outside of the car - I thought I'd give the engine bay some love too - with about 50 hours of hand sanding and polishing - I gave the plenum and timing chain cover some much needed love. An ebay wire harness cover and some high temp paint became the cherry on top
-
I then found myself in possession of some facelift taillights which I smoked and some LED sequential indicators to boot (+ bumper tuck)
-
This was then beautifully painted by Gavin Pink At The PaintShop (10/10 would recommend - the finish was like glass)
-
Despite the wheels and the lows making the car stand out - I still wanted something different. So I went for a Nismo V2 (replica) front bumper because I like the way they look and haven't seen them on many UK z's
-
My favourite mod even now is the new wheels - OZ Superleggera III - found them surprisingly cheap on FB marketplace and had help refurbing them with Ballistic350
-
Next step was to clean up the old and faded headlights - for this I used the Autoglym kit for any who were wondering
-
Looks a gem
-
First big thing I did was slam it to the ground on Airlift Performance 3P suspension (supplied and fitted by Tarmac Sportz)
-
ZaneDylan started following Bagged, Riced and Boosted?

Been meaning to start a build thread for a while - I feel like the cars finally getting to a point where it's worth doing. Here's what it looked like when I first bought it - ugly but it had black accents I quite liked

Appreciate the feedback. I think its just getting used to it as i've driven mostly front engined cars up til now! -
Sorry to bring up and old thread, mine has had this issue and I had it re mapped at Horsham developments and it got rid of it, my battery was unplugged for a few days having some welding done, and it came back, Horsham flashed the mapping and got rid of it again, at another £250 😭 does this procedure still work even with a new mapping on the ecu? im terrified to unplug my battery 😂

Interesting reading your feedback... In terms of the light front end - i used to have a 911 (a 996 - the crap one) and I really didn't like how light the front end was in that - i found it quite disconcerting and it took me a long time to trust it... but the Emira - i'd had mine a week before it dawned on me that I hadn't noticed a light front end at all, i think it's quite neutral. Speed-wise... on my test drive i was pretty underwhelmed too - it didn't feel especially quick - but once i'd collected it and i was on my own (without a dashcam 😅) i was suitably impressed... it's got a very narrow power band, 5k-7k revs for the peak power - it sounds like an F1 car and propels you at silly speeds... upshifting from 2nd to 3rd at the red line feels brutal. I had a 5.0 Mustang a few years ago which was 4.8 0-60, 420bhp, and that felt alarmingly sedate in retrospect... I can really feel the 0.s less it takes the Emira... -
Absolutely stunning Andy.
