So... it's been a little while due to life forcing the Nissan to take a back seat. However yesterday saw a few bits done that I've been meaning to get around to for a while! First up, wheel spacers. After 2 and a half years of "encouragement" by @Stutopia and a number of other ex-Zed owners, I've finally gotten around to it 😅 I went with the tried and tested 25mm rear/ 20mm front for the standard RAYS. I'm very please with the resulting stance Next up, some heavy duty boot springs off eBay since the boot was failing to pop open. It would seem a previous owner had already put washers in in attempt to give them some more life... This was a bit of a faf of a job, since the circlips holding the spring in place were tiny. I got there in the end though so now the boot has a nice pop and much easier to open. The final job was a wiper delete kit which I've finally got around to fitting. I bought it off eBay a couple of years ago and I have to say I'm really impressed by the fit and finish of it. Ideally I'd have it colour coded but that's a job for another day! Kit + Before. After. Much cleaner look imo 😁 Of course, you have to get out an for evening drive to test your wiper delete is working as expected, right?

NECRO Please tell me someone has figured this out. 08 HR TPS relay stuck on. Orange wire has more voltage than it should with the ignition off however I jumped the wire from the IPDM to the ECU with a new length of 14 gauge and the relay stayed on. New IPDM, new throttle body, new APP, new crank and cam sensors. $1800 with the shop and no progress. About to put a new to her harness and ECU in. I've read the "coil driver" in the ECU could be bad but I do have communication with it for DTCs.

Hi ZonixX; thanks for the review. What type of use did you take into account when determining the life expectancy of the pads and discs? I'm interested to get DS1.11 at my 350Z but i'm a bit worried about duration of this pads amb the discs. I have tried DS2500 and EBC Bluestuff NDX. The DS1.11 are +50% more expensive than these two. Thanks.

Hi, I have fitted coilovers to my convertible 350z and I am wondering how I can change the dampening on my rear coils without disassembling my suspension each time. I have seen that it is easily done for coupes (remove the sway bar cover and use extenders) but I cant find much online about convertibles. I am aiming to drill access holes within the soft top storage compartment to then pass through the extenders but I don't know where to start. Has anyone done this mod before? If so, can you help me. Thanks!

Hmm.. well tyre pressures are good. Steering is direct, there's no wandering feeling, it's just heavy. Need to take a closer look at the fluid to determine if it looks brown. I have noticed that the steering wheel doesn't seem totally centred either in relation to the steering, i.e I have to hold the wheel ever so slightly off centre to remain in a straight line. @ZMANALEX how much is a replacement pump? I guess that would be a good place to start right?

Hi Alex, Yes checked tyre pressures and that's all good

Adrian@TORQEN started following Standard Cats
-
1.25 pitch, I suspect you're trying M10 1.50
-
The standard cats have a captive screw for fitting to the bracket that bolts across the underside of the transmission bellhousing. Hope I've explained that well enough. I've had to fit the standard cats back on as I've got one of those cars that just can't pass an MOT with 300 cel HFCs despite how hot I get it and how much cat/injector cleaner I put in the fuel. Best I've got the Co2 is 0.4%. My inspector is visibly willing it to pass every retest. Lamba and HC pass. I've put the standard CATs back on for a re-re-re-test but I can't find the nuts for the captive bolts. It looks close to an M10 but an M10 won't fit. Anyone know the size? Imperial maybe?

Hello Olly, I'm back in the UK now. If you're still interested I'll send some photos of the M R coilovers?

This came as part of a larger Auto Glym kit and I have no use for it. Unused and boxed. Comprises Interior Ultimate Protection, Glass Protection for side windows and rear screen (the blurb specifies that it's not for use on front windscreen) , Bodywork Ceramic Protection, pump nozzle squirty thingy (presumably for the interior protection bottle) and an applicator pad. No idea what it's worth, but £25 plus postage sounds like a bargain.

Good that it's sorted

Genuine Nissan part, unused and boxed. I'm presuming "Over Fender FRO" means front, which makes sense as it wasn't needed during repair. Please check fitment by part number on the box. Nissan probably sells this for a daft amount of money, but it's of no use to me. £20 plus postage, or collection from RH6 near Gatwick.
