  2. I changed my auto oil last year on 33k miles and I'll do it again at 60k and 90k whenever I get there. I also dropped the pan, fitted a new filter, and cleaned the magnets. It's an easy job, takes about an hour or so. Personally I've never held with the idea autos are filled for life, I've drained too many high milers down the years and seen the black sludge. JMO. A box of 10 litres of Motul S ATF cost me £142.89, the filter and sump gasket was £22.64. It took about 7 litres, I didn't flush it and not all of the oil drains out. You'll need a small hand pump like this SMOTIVEPRO 1 Liter Multi-Purpose Oil Pump, Hand Fluid Transfer Pump for Engine Oil, Transmission, Brake Fluid, and Gearbox Oil, Precision Fluid Dispensing in Tight Spaces : Amazon.co.uk: Automotive

  7. Hi all, Looks like the usual club stand is not available this year so Zociety UK have setup a Zociety Europe club stand and are uniting all the smaller factions to get one huge club stand of our Z's going. They've also drafted in some European Z owners that will be on stand with us too! If anyone wants to join the Zociety stand the booking link below is now live https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fkelsey.eventsair.com%2Fjapfest26%2Fcregistraterjf26%3Fcarclubname%3DZocietyEurope%26fbclid%3DIwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTAAYnJpZBEwUnVsRUhma1E2RUxwaFZQenNydGMGYXBwX2lkEDIyMjAzOTE3ODgyMDA4OTIAAR5B2qb_O_AJLlS4afc5mX3TSuPB7VHUvg6zZKp7flWMeVzfZsZ7nm8gJpHClQ_aem_w6-Hg1IPwV42dHQxUprmbg&h=AT3Nm_eySaEdSX3a3faewOYGf6xncaAXJI3NGWUctI1jkNRN3niiyxlAyb4Eco--rSWyEr02eI92Qaq1ChLugwa5SDO9pwws4nRYn292Gw5hiBUHtgUlEUbzm3XqdVZXxZZbyMPj_yKWN1DePFF79ZQ&__tn__=-UK-R&c[0]=AT2nZJJGboOkv-FLmQ6i-k-4nLIVTGfKqI4HWi-QFEF8sixFx_YTXEofNhlPoTobYX_sQ_fgEmToa5KRY_Yp176ecqUfTUHn4JceKNsRK3h-hDY1aWz5_2r_VfzH9NpPAIbC9dH7octDacBILOnFv7Nzur3OdsuSpHselFZfRqE85E8
  8. UK 350Z cars do not have an Auto tranny. JDM 350Z auto cars come with fluid for life.
  9. Thank you Huge thank you to all you lovely folks who braved it for today's club meet. Roads were appalling at times, so respect due in decently powered rwd cars. Absolutely BRILLIANT bunch and always a joy when we have our get togethers. 2025' has been a year for the club we won't ever forget, massive highs and incredible lows made hopefully a touch easier through genuine friendship. Here's to 2026 with plenty more to come 🥳 Pre meet Venue Breakfast Post meet *Fire station parking, not what you know 😉 Late lunch
  10. I know this is about 12 years after the last post, but I’m curious, does the “UK is for life, US is not” rule also apply to Japanese-imported cars? I’ve done a bit of reading (mainly forum posts lol) and saw that a veteran user ( @ZMANALEX ) says gearbox oil for UK cars is lifetime, whereas US ones don’t. Can anyone share how things stand for Japanese imports to the UK?

  12. Only seen a few of these in the flesh, gorgeous cars
  13. Thanks All! Sorry you can’t make it Andy, hopefully another time😌 I’ve popped a post out onto the Facebook pages and instagram as well. I’ll register for a club stand under Zociety UK and share the stand code on all platforms tomorrow after 12pm. I’ll keep you posted Nath

  16. Nice heads up fella Be sure to share the stand code, sure we'll get a fair more Z together for next year's for us all.
  17. I was on taxi duty last night, picking up my wife from her work xmas do, so had to stop off for a 1am picture at Old Trafford whilst i was in the area...
  18. Hi Nath. Many thanks for your kind offer. Sounds like a great plan. Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend next year as my Z is currently residing in Spain until September.
  19. I have had an email stating Japfest 2026 tickets will be available this Monday 8th December

    Cats

Okay, so some interesting findings from my first test. Standard cats, reset STFTs, warm engine, at fast idle the trims are 105% and AFR 14.6. Then I put on the cobra 200 cel cats, and a radium oil catch kit I bought on black Friday. Reset STFTs again, warm engine, fast idle, the fuel trims are now 95% and AFR 14.6. I was expecting HFCs to reduce backpressure and let a bit more oxygen reach the upstream O₂ sensors at idle. That would bias the sensors lean, and the ECU would add fuel. But I got the exact opposite, the ECU is having to take fuel out.🤔
  21. Andy, Zociety UK are looking to do a stand at Japfest, but it would make sense to all link up for a joint stand so we have UK Z’s and Zociety UK together. Would that be of interest? Last year the group was smaller than 2024 so involving a wider audience all in the Z community would be fantastic. I am one of the admin team there, so we’re happy to get the stand code and share it across here - let me know before Monday 12pm ticket release! Nath @naths350z
  22. See you folks tomorrow, be safe everyone and take it steady 🙏
  23. Hello and welcome.
  24. Lovely buy and gorgeous colour too 💙 see you Saturday
  25. Nice one fella, be lovely to meet up 😊

Has anyone ever experimented with welding second bricks into the y pipe? That would give a substrate surface are equivalent to stock cats, but all the advantages of higher flow
  27. Welcome mate, don't see many clean verts around look forward to seeing what you do with it First step should be some nice wheels I'd imagine, your welcome to use my build thread as inspo on what not to do aha
  28. Disco biscuits, the real reason football hooligan culture disappeared in the 90s. Everyone was still too loved up from the night before and the only thing on anyone's mind Saturday lunchtime was finding water. And the FA thought it was their all seater stadiums that did it 🤣
  29. Disco biscuits 😁 the good old days 🙃
