  3. Surprised someone have bought your coilovers
  4. Hi a welcome 😁
  5. I had flu over xmas and the car has sat untouched for a month, so decided to set to on the airlift and fit the front. Very easy to fit. I did ponder airline route for a while; there are quite a few videos on YouTube showing people routing then under the car, and one guy routing through the car, but very little detail. I decided to drill through the footwells in the corner, fit grommets and route behind the liners and into the car. Seems safer to me and a straight run from bags to valve. Very pleased with how to came out and I won't have to mess around getting then over and under and around the rear subframe. I'm planning to set about the rears next weekend. Photo if it helps anyone in the future.

  9. Can't see any signs of carbon or am I missing something?
  10. Hi mate, I've also got a black GT4, had it since 2018. Still love the car. Any questions just ask 👍.
  11. And I guess you work for them. Reads like an advert not an honest recommendation.
  12. Last week
  13. Congratulations on your new acquisition....... quite a rare find these GT4s. Your smile will be even bigger when the roads are warmer and dryer😉.
  14. While you are in there, make sure your push pull cable is not broken where it mounts to the latch. Check tension by manually triggering the latch release actuator and verify the micro switch under the latch is being depressed. If the cable piece where the tabs are is broken it will not have the proper tension to push the micro switch down.

    Sill parts

Hi all Does anyone know places that sell sill repair panels. Need the rear piece from the door edge back to the arch both sides. Can only find full panels for crazy money.
  16. I swapped the stock steering wheel for a carbon fiber steering wheel from TTD Craft. The quality honestly exceeded my expectations — clean carbon weave, solid grip, and it fits perfectly with no issues during install. After driving with it for a bit, the wheel feels great, especially during spirited driving. It makes the interior feel more modern without changing the character of the car. I used a discount code ttdcraft03 when ordering, which helped a little on the price. Overall, I’m happy with the upgrade. Thought this might be useful for other 370Z owners considering a steering wheel swap.
  17. Hi everyone. My name is Al. Bought my first 350 a couple of months ago and I'm loving it. It's a 2005 GT4. Very unlike me, bought it through auction unseen not test driven. Was sweating like a pig bidding. I must be mad what am I doing and it was 200 mile away. It didn't disappoint when I collected. I had face ache from grinning all the way home. Couple of niggles to sort but nothing major. Think I'll be in touch with ZManAlex for a couple parts soon
  18. Chiming in here to stop people from spinning their wheels and to actually answer a question which seems impossible in the Z community after the Z32. Fifth bow motor will not activate in the situations listed above. you can manually move the fifth bow motor after the clicking is heard. The latch is disconnected. Use a 5mm Allen head on the motor under the plastic trim. Once the fifth bow motor is lifted, you can open the trunk and release the storage compartment latches and manually open the tonneau cover. inside the tonneau cover is your problem. There is the fifth bow release actuator, the fifth bow latch, and the fifth bow auto closing actuator. your latch release IS working. That is the click after the button releases. The next step of operation is for the system to check if the auto close actuator is open or closed. Your auto close actuator motor cable may be loose or mispositioned, flicking one of the micro switches on the latch and causing the operation to stop due to unexpected positioning. pull the assembly, clean the micro switches, disassemble the auto closure actuator, rewind the motor to fully retracted, grease cable. You should be able to spin the cable into and out the motor by hand now by using the tab. Reinstall the assembly. Make sure the latch is in RELEASED position. Make sure the piece that pulls the latch down is in the UP position. Connect the greased cable to the shortest possible length while still depressing the upper micro switch. You need to enter the vehicle and close the roof at this point. It should work.
