They'll still be done.

Its like obeying the speed limit at breichard bridge.... No one does!

There's so much free publicity for the ring by manufactures posting laps, why would they stop it?

Good. Ring times are ultimately pointless, I'll be glad to see the back of them tbh, manufacturers shouldn't be using them as a way of benchmarking their cars.

Yeah this will still go on, they'll just say they aren't timing them when they actually will be and no one will obey the speed limits, there are already speed limits in certain parts of the ring that no one obeys.

The race cars do. Manufacturers will, if they want to be allowed on. Road cars will on TF days if they don't want to jeopardise those days.
