Rota Grid Drift

Hi All

I'm looking at getting some Rota Grid Drifts for the 350z but i'm struggling with finding the right offset etc.

I'm after the deepest concave available, I don't want a lip on the rear wheels and I'd like to know the biggest width a 350z can take without rubbing. My rear arches have already been rolled and the car is due to go onto coilovers.

I'm still not settled on 18 or 19 inch so if anyone has any these fitted it would be good to see some pics and the wheel specs.

Cheers!

Most members on here who have modded have gone to 19's. 18's for go, 19's for show. The ride isn't a lot different in my experience, maybe a little harder but that can depend on tyre pressures for a start..

How is the ride on 19s? I've heard it's not nice at all

I've heard that said by a few but imo it's total rubbish.

I went from 18" Rays on my Zed to 19" Rota Grids and I personally felt nothing negative, ...in fact I actually felt like it improved the car.

Yes they are heavier alloys/tyres than the Rays but it's no different than when you take a passenger on board, ...it's not like you'll notice a difference in performance then.

If I was taking my car on the drag strip then maybe I would lose a few tenths or more but for daily driving I believe the 19's to be just as good if not better than the 18's.

All just my opinion though.

No spacers at all and still on the standard Nissan suspension set up (bar some SuperPro bushes). :)

But he needs some lows ;)

They are a great wheel for the money

That's its then I've decided. 19" gtr's and some tein lowering springs.

Now the only thing is what colour 😊

Same as me , tein springs complement the wheels nicely :)

Colours easy ........ Silver with polished lip ;)

Don't think silver will compliment the car once it's had its respray though...purple

Oh purple ....... Still, think that's your best option ..... Bling colour , you can't run bling wheel colour , plain but classy IMO .

I think 9.5" all round will look abit weak the rears will be well inside the arch unless you run spacers aswell.

Crazy to run same all round , won't look right , unless you run a spacer on the rear ...... But don't see the point really , 9.5 front 10.5 rear
