Danohosko Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) Set of front and rear Rays without tyres. The paint-job is far from winning any prizes but is nice from a distance. If you plan to look at them closely or for shows then would recommend a re-spray for sure. A couple have a little bit of curb damage (prior to being sprayed so its painted over) All of them have some paint scrapes around the edge (from the tyre place). A couple have some 'bubbling' and corrosion of paint in a couple small patches. One had a big bit of overspray where the silver oversprayed, and a couple small bits on a couple others There is a significant and noticeable 'lip' between the graphite/silver paint. Really these are being sold as 'from a distance' or resprays. £255 delivered, but you will need to be patient while i sort out some packaging.... ChrisS Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Think you should add the pictures properly. Some members will not bother to keep clicking individual links.
Danohosko Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) I'll try and get them uploaded properly, sorry about that! Im having trouble getting them uploaded properly? Edited May 20, 2015 by Danohosko
Randy_Baton Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) You've uploaded them fine. When posting to this forum you need to click the square picture button (just under and to the left of the smily face) and then enter the direct link shown on the right hand side of the Photobucket page into the popup. Grundy Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Or just choose the IMG link on photobucket, easiest way.
Danohosko Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 The Links on the right, of course haha, i was putting the whole webpage URL... cheers all its sorted now
Danohosko Posted May 31, 2015 Author Posted May 31, 2015 Down in Cornwall, as far away from proper civilisation as you can get really haha
Zeezeebaba Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Ahh ok a little to far for me to travel. No worries mate and thanks for replying.
ianphampton Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Just checking - are these 235 x 18" and 225 x 18" ? Thanks
Danohosko Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 They are 8J and 8.5J, tyres to fit would be 225x18" and 245x18" Might be able to fit 235x18" if they are 'stretched on' (i think thats a thing people can do?) But not sure
Adrian@TORQEN Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 For that price you might as well give them for free. How can a set of RAYS forged aluminium alloys go for £200 and also nobody bothered to buy them, unbelievable. 1
Danohosko Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Yeah i admit the paint job isn't the best.... But like you said, forged Rays lightweight alloys haha, they will be going on eBay at some point i'm sure they will sell easy enough on there even if they aren't being put onto another Z.
ianphampton Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 They'll end up as winter wheels on my Infiniti - which is why the paint job is less important ! (It's also why I wanted to confirm the sizes as I've got 19" on her at the moment) Now all I've got to do is pick which winter tyres I'll put on them (waits for Ekona to contribute) 1
