Anyone tell me if its best to run warm water through my pressure washer and snow foam attachment or is cold water better or just as good

Hot/warm water will always be better for cleaning, but cold water does just fine. Same when you do the dishes, hot water softens the dirt better

I usually put warm water in the snow foam gun with the snow foam and then as my jet washer is running from a cold tap outlet it usually comes out luke warm after it's mixed together. ;)

^^ This  Most pressure washers are water cooled, so running hot water through them may cause some issues with overheating

Snow foam is a pre-wash prior to washing in the normal way. Most foams* are designed to remove and soften as much of the dirt from the surface as possible before any contact is made with the wash mitt/pad/media of choice. The idea being that the less dirt on the car during the contact wash, the less risk there is of inflicting marring.

*Some foams are only designed to look pretty, because that's the important part according to some.

A good snow foam should (in this order):

Be fun to use.

Be thick like shaving foam.

Smell nice.

Not leave a mess on the drive.

Upset neighbours on windy days.

Stop you installing defects in the paint.
