GC350z Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 No pics as I was driving. On my way home from work yesterday passed an R8 that was sitting in traffic. First one I've ever seen. It was all white including that side panel. It really was plain looking. In fact I wouldn't of noticed it except for the LED's on the front. I think the colour choice of that side panel is the key to that car. Forgot about it straight away. Dull. Quote
Sarnie Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I saw a black one yesterday with a silver side blade. It looked nice, that as much as i can muster really. It didn't make me want to stop an stare. It may be a good car but its still an audi for me. For the money you couls get something a lot more exotic and rare as the streets will be flooded with these like 911's soon Quote
Stew Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 My girlfriend saw a black one. She took a pic of it for me as she knew I hadn't seen one. She said it look mean and really big. I'm yet to see one on the road. Quote
WoREoD Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Saw two at the 'ring last weekend, a UK plate dark grey (not on the track to my knowledge!) and a German plate Black (out for a lap or two). I think the comment about careful choice of colour for the side panel is spot on. Quote
Kev946 Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 Haven't seen any yet Me neither. From pictures, I like the styling apart from the awful corporate Audi Grille, too much TT A4 looking for me. Quote

See http://spiritof.info/design/articles/cn ... tory1.html I believe Audi trusted the Italians with the interior.... Oh and maybe the exterior styling.... Interesting this one. See http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Ne ... eId=119343 It says the Gallardo is getting a revamp in 2008 and getting some of the R8 mechanicals. Quote

Sarnie Posted October 19, 2007 Posted October 19, 2007 When you putting your order in the a 2008 G... Gonna be a while before i've saved up enough pennies for an upgrade. Been thinking recently about my next car and I can't think of anything sub £110k that I'd want really, so i think my next car will be a convertible G in Verde Ithica (lime green): Quote
