GMballistic Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 WD40. If you're doing it yourself though it may be an idea to have a blowtorch handy as sometimes it helps to add some heat to stubborn bolts. Quote

marzman Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 WD40 isnt a penetrating fluid. Halfords have stopped selling Plus Gas, so i recently just used their off the shelf 3 in 1 penetrating spray. Sprayed on and on the same day the nuts wouldnt move, but seven days later they came straight off. With the Zed exhaust though you might be lucky to remove some of the bolts without cutting them out with a torch. Quote

badCOK Posted September 5, 2014 Author Posted September 5, 2014 Just an update.... Used the Plus gas stuff, worked a dream. Literally sprayed it on 5 mins before having a go at the bolts, which were seriously corroded.... So glad i bought the stuff! 1 Quote
