The Seasider Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) Just had the wheels refurbed on my coupe and treated myself to some new nuts whilst I was at it. Also had the non contact areas on the rear disks sprayed with heat resistant silver paint. What do you think? Edited July 26, 2014 by The Seasider 2 Quote
GMballistic Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Alloys look great. Have you got any locking wheel nuts though? Might be a good idea if you haven't. Quote
The Seasider Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 I had them done a 'proper' colour - Ford Sea Grey - so they will be easy to touch up when I catch a kerb! I should probably think about LWNs. Quote
GMballistic Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Colour goes well with the Azure of your Zed. I'd definitely get a set of locking wheel nuts just to be safe, especially with your alloys looking so nice now. Quote

WhackyWill Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Lovely job, look good, but as GM said you need locking wheel nuts. Quote

scobie140 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Looks good, I wouldn't bother with locking wheel nuts, waste of time and ruins the look.If someone wants to steal your wheels they will as its not hard get past most of the locking wheelnuts with tools any nugget can buy. Quote
StevoD Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 why do they look so tiny ? colour combo is epic tho good to see someone who doesn't go BAHHHHHHH Quote
The Seasider Posted July 28, 2014 Author Posted July 28, 2014 why do they look so tiny ? Don't know why they look small - they're the usual 18s ??? I tend to agree with the view that locking nuts won't stop anybody who's targeted the wheels. Quote
