Checking the database the number of posts assigned to a topic (such as the one listed above) matches exactly with the number of posts being shown in the topic. As would be expected. Am now searching to see if for any reason there are some orphaned psts out there that are in the database but dont have a topic assigned. Absolutely no idea at this stage what could have caused this.
