glrnet Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Why can't it be repaired, what do mean my "collided", got any pictures? PM Clark Motorsport or Zmanalex Quote
cornerstone0010 Posted June 20, 2014 Author Posted June 20, 2014 I hit a kerb and took the car to letchworth diamond wheels. They repaired the surface damage but the wheel was bucked and where is a lot of vibration through the steerage wheel. They tried again to no avail. Pictures of original damage attached Quote
samsniss350z Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Ouch, I'll bet that made a horrific noise when you made contact. There was one of these on Fleabay recently (it is a 370 wheel isn't it?) but I can't be any more specific than that. I can't even remember whether it was front or rear but it was less than 2 weeks ago that it was advertised. Quote
Steel Lynx Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Welcome to the forum. Sorry to see the wheel, I hope you manage to get it sorted with the least amount of hassle Quote

Hello & This might be what you want but it doesn't say if it front or back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191219673644 Quote
GMballistic Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Hello & This might be what you want but it doesn't say if it front or back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191219673644 Think that's a rear alloy going from the size Harry. Welcome aboard cornerstone0010. Maybe try a few breakers on eBay to see if they can help get you a reasonably priced alloy. There are a few 370Z's being broken up so worth a message to the sellers I'd bet. leonk Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I'm no expert but with that sort of impact would it be worth getting some sort of geometry check done as well just to make sure you haven't damaged something else? Welcome to the forum and all the best getting it sorted Quote

Welcome to the forum and all the best getting it sorted +1 On that...how fast was the kerb going? I just hope all is OK and that you get it sorted to your satisfaction, good luck Quote
choptop Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Depending on your insurance cover, NCD and your excess, maybe worth claiming? Quote
Almeida1234 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Get a new set of wheels bud If that works out cheaper Alternately one of the traders might able to help Quote
Sy1441 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Christ, I slid a day old A5 sportback into a kerb and done less wheel damage but bent the axle and done some other damage to the chassis. I'd definitely advise getting the car looked over if you haven't already. Quote
