Don't kid yourself into thinking cloth seats and a lack of cruise control are for hardcore racers, haha The cruise is a god send, the brembos are great, the heated leather is a little pointless but the electrics are a nice touch. The Bose system is great for a standard car but if you fancy changing it have fun as it isn't as simple as ripping out the head unit and slapping in a new one. The Rays alloy wheels are lightweight too so any weight gains from the cruise and Bose sub may be slightly countered by this. As said, these are big heavy cars so the additional options you get on the GT will make zero differences in the drive but I like having them. Also, a UK GT can set you back as little as a further £500 than a Japanese base model import. What's your budget? Rays alloys were a factory option, became standard equipment later, nothing to do with GT Pack. As stated in post 2; GT Pack is Leather/Bose/Cruise. That's it. I'd agree that cruise is great, especially in ANPR speed check areas that seem all too common now. Brembos are UK standard as stated. Interesting comment on the seats - I quite like the heated seats, but would argue that the electric seats are pointless. The only time I ever move the seats is to vacuum the carpets behind them, and it's slower moving electric seats than it would be manual seats! I'd guess most of the weight gain of the GT model is in the electric motors for the seats, although as previously mentioned it's hardly relevant in such a heavy car. It's a similar weight to a BMW 3 series which has 5 seats, a usable boot and is significantly more refined. I'm not really sure where the weight actually goes in the Z, but there you go. Who doesn't want a couple of memory positions for you & the wife and how much extra could it cost ? How much of a pain is it trying to get it back to your perfect seating position after she's been driving - we'll the wife hasn't actually driven mine yet but you get my point ? Over the last 8 years I've seen people telling other people that the GT pack includes Xenons, Brembo's, RAYS plus a multitude of other incorrect information...
