I have a private plate which is only 5 characters long, so I would like to have a shorter plate, so to make it look nice and clean and neat, I am going to try to get my hands on an American front number plate bracket which is shorter than the UK one. I can get one from a US seller for 60 quid all in (posted), but I just wondered if anyone knows if you can get them here. US plate holder: Cheers Dan Quote

Jordan777er Posted January 15, 2014 Posted January 15, 2014 Another option is to get a plate bracket that screws in where the tow hook goes. That's where I put mine and it keeps the front end nice and cleean and also keeps me from having to drill into my bumper. Quote

ApexTM Posted December 12, 2015 Posted December 12, 2015 (edited) I am currently in the US on holiday (ish). I have a size digit number plate. Would this work with that? Also would I still be left with the two screw holes in my bumper when I fitted the smaller plate holder or do they just screw into the uk spec bracket.
