Nismo oil cap and rad cap

Can't see why the oil cap wouldn't be fit for purpose as it isn't pressurised. The rad cap though I would be more wary of.

That's fine until you strip the aluminium threads on the oil cap and you cannot get it off..!!! :scare: :scare:

 

Which would you recommend then mate?

Iv got the first one, the Ratchet Type Nismo one, it's excellent and looks really nice fitted :-)

I would have no problems buying and using the oil cap as it's the low pressure side of the oil system and there's no way aluminium threads will be stripped by the plastic It screws into. I personally wouldn't use the rad cap as that needs to hold pressure

Well I've just ordered the Chinese oil filler cap, interested to see it, I'll let you know if my car explodes in a fire ball after fitting it! :lol:

 

let me know how you get on - although after seeing Eastys cap i'm inclined to wait until i've got a "spare" £50 lying about lol
