So I have had my renewal quote and its £363 for me and the missus.

 

So I tried Adrian Flux and Chris Knott got reasonable quotes of both but then went on GO COMPARE website and the best quote came in at £231.90 for 12 months on my 350z Roadster.

 

Thats over £100 cheaper than any of the above.

 

The morale of this tale is make sure you shop around !!!

I always use Go Compare and find it always comes up with better prices than anywhere else.

I always use go compare when my insurance is due but it never beats the renewal quote on any of my vehicles so it just goes to show how it works for different people

Yep ..Go Compare for me, i never take the renewal price as its normally a few £100 more than a new quote.

 

this year Admiral were about £200 cheaper than my renewal quote.

i found Go Compare to be the most expensive actually! Confused.com saved me around £600 on my insurance and I went with Admiral through them

Shop around yes, but also compare level of cover and if possible, service (eg mid-term adjustments etc)

^^^ That. I've gone with Admiral this year (through Compare The Market) and they've done nothing but d*ck me around since the cover started. The entire Admiral group are now added to my sh*t list and I won't go near them again regardless of how good their quotes appear to be.

Try all the large comparison sites. Youll find there will be a large difference in all of them

Mines due again in march (11th I believe).

 

Currently very happy with Adrian Flux due to the generous club discount, the free ability to drive any other car and alos the pretty decent excess levels. Even if they aren't the cheapest next year (they were this year, by £3-400!) il stick with them

 

Oh, and its a 12 month policy with 9 payments, meaning in December, Jan & Feb I have "free" insurance

Hi Dan, its with Swiftcover.com no breakdown cover and no legals coz I get all that free with my bank. I think my post code is the key tbh.
