Number plate bulbs

My number plate light is actually a SMD strip with (I think) 2 SMD's in it.

Z32 number plate lights are a common MOT failure as the bulb holder corrodes. So I changed mine to a SMD strip.

I've got a ceramic resistor to wire in before the car comes back on the road in the Spring which will dim it by about a 1/4.

Ordered 3 pairs, number plate lights, side lights, boot light and a spare.. They're alright, I can't help but feel they're a little on the blue side - I haven't yet fitted the sidelights so don't know how they look next to xenons but fitted the others. Not had the chance to get a pic yet. Can't complain for the price really!!

Hmm they do say 6000k which is probably about the same! I'll leave them for now and see how the sidelights look. Mine don't look bad :)

No probs. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. ;)

Cheers for the link. I'll keep it in mind if the ones I bought don't look the way I want them too :)
