Hi. I'm not sure if this has already been mentioned, but there is a 350z article in the June edition of Classic Car Magazine!!! My boss gets the magainze and said 'isn't that what you've got?'!!! Great article. I have scanned it, but no idea how to get that up on here!

Looks like we will have over 100 which beats 2012s record year. Silverstone is obviously a great venue choice! I am not looking forward to the early start though... Stay up the Saturday night. I replaced my roof back in September. Best thing I ever did. Mine was a Robbins one from California (think that was £450) then I got it fitted in Haywards Heath by some great guys who'd been fitting roofs for 35 years. They'd never done a 350z before, so they did lots of 'homework' and spoke to a couple of other fitters in the UK, all that wouldn't gaurantee that the sensors would fully work (apparently a known problem that Robbins were also aware for). Most places would only supply the roof and not fit! I will admit, I was nervous, but had full faith in the fact that if theses guys couldn't do it, then no one would be able to! Got the car back and we did have a slight leak over the back corner, so they had it back and moved the bar slightly and stretched it using heaters. Then I've had it down a couple of times to test, and I've left it all winter to stretch. The black colur is a real deep black and chuffed to bits with it. Definitely worth doing, just got to hunt out people you can trust. The quality is amazing too

I have always liked them anyway but seeing yours on the way to work a few times confirmed that i wanted one. They are a bit different to the usual bmw/audi/mercs everyone i know seems to have or want Hope to see you guys around soon! Was this you I waved to this morning?

Oh, that'll likely be me then. I tend to wave at every 350z, but I only do little hands up as I get blanked by most! I wouldn't generally wave at a Saxo though, so I'll keep my eyes peeled!! I work in Shoreham, so do the drive every week day. See you both again soon, I'm sure. Ali

I'm just sat in mine and yep, bar is straight. If it works and it's water tight, leave it well alone (having just replaced my roof and not been easy!).

The guys that are doing the work arranged it. I know it came into the UK to a supplier and then to them, but I don't know who the UK people were .....possibly one of the known sites I've seen as the people fitting it did a lot of research on it for me.

Mine has (had!) a small split on the joint, but with this summer and the roof down so much, this has split more. I think the previous owner didn't treat the roof to be honest. My big worry Is the colour....I want it BLACK black! Bit I've been told that I have no need to worry. The guys that are fitting are also reinforcing the joints where it does the big fold back. I'll post photos once it's done....not sure if I'll need to treat it straight away or leave for a bit, so going to check that with them. I've had numerous funny remarks at work as I had some spare cash (from a house sale) and girls (and the lads!) at work were expecting me to go out and spend money on shoes/make up.....and didn't understand it when I bought new Milltek exhaust, new gear knob and new roof! Oh and I'm going to get some scratches/dents done next month......but then again my car stereo has just bust on me as well!

Hi all Besides my OH (other half!), no one else is getting excited with me....so in case any of you guys may get a tinzie bit excited with me.....this week my 350z black roadster is going in for a new mohair roof!! I've waited for couple of months for it to be shipped over from Robbins in Califonia and it arrived last week. 2 days to fit, so I'll get it back on Thursday evening. Ruddy exciting (everyone keep fingers crossed the sensors all work after!) I'll post photos

I got all excited as I thought it was me as I work near the crossing, but alas I think you are saying the Saturday, so wasn't me!
