help and advice needed please! drivers window

hi folks. I have noticed an intermitted fault all of a sudden with my drivers side window, it doesn't drop sometimes when I open the door so when I come to close it the glass is smacking the A panel roof section. im worried it will break the glass, can this be fixed? has anyone else had this? it is like the window is not dropping enough maybe when the door is open, but then sometimes it works ok? your experience or advice is great appreciated?

A reset which you will find in the guides section should fix this issue.

Does it work when you use the button to lower it?

 

If not you'll need to give the motor a reconditioning or buy a new one.

the window motor works fine, goes up and down fine! Alex I will see if I can find the reset thread, thanks.

Do the reset and it'll be fine. They just lose their memory sometimes.

after you open the door and wait 10 -20 seconds, I hear a click sound coming from behind the drivers seat then the window will drop a bit! is there some kind of relay back there?

I have the same clicking noise from behind the seat. Or did. No it doesn't auto drop at all. I'll look for the reset guide. It was fine in summer?
