Chris`I Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 If i had supercar money, i'd pay an assistant to find me one And miss out on all the test drives? Quote
holtehero Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 I said find me one, hell no i'm doing the test pilot bit Quote
Sarnie Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Half the fun of getting a car is finding one! You reckon? I hate that bit. I just want it. NOW Quote
Stew Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 But you are the man who is looking at buying a gallardo when in the past day has posted 2 pics of red ferrari spyders saying you want them! Patience is a good thing my friend. You have to make the right decision. I didn't buy the first Zed I saw and I certainly wouldn't be parting with 100k unless I was really sure I was making the best choice. Quote

That Ferrari is another 60k Quote

rmmackfc Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Theres a 360 Modena Spider on the Autotrader website for about that. It's in an Ice Blue colour...bit tame for you Sarnie Quote
Stew Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 As I said before, why part with 90k to get second best! Quote
Sarnie Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 As I said before, why part with 90k to get second best! Because imo I'm getting the best car I can for £90k. I don't want a blue Ferrari. It would have to be red and a 430, which I can't afford. Quote
Stew Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 Well you posted a pick of a 360! Fair play, I suppose that'll be the next car! Quote
AndyC Posted June 8, 2007 Posted June 8, 2007 If it was me, I had to say Ferrari without a doubt. However, I'd want a 430 or 599 now which are both out of the price range. So in that case I'd have a Aston Vantage. Been lucky enough to drive the Aston & the Gallardo, but for me it'd be the Bond feeling all the way Quote
Ian Posted June 9, 2007 Posted June 9, 2007 Ferrari 599 please! +1 Wouldnt mind a Ford Gt though Quote

I don't think buying the exact right car is such a big deal, but then being in the trade probably changes my outlook. I have loads of cars on my "must have" list but I'll buy whatever takes my eye whether it's on the list or not. I always make sure I'm buying a first class example of whatever the car is, so I can sell it easily when I have had my fun. The beauty of buying cars is that the money isn't spent and gone forever, you just sell the car and buy another. Quote
