There's something I want Japspeed to do but I can't really post it on a family forum....

Wow I really didn't realise they were that poor!?? Haha good thing I'm a newbie then ;) so what's a good alternative thst isn't going to be vastly expensive??

Cheers

:pmcs: and Redline%20styling%20smiley-final.gif too, both have some good options.

This is what you need, Cobra Sports system - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/63096-cobra-sports-exhaust-from-cougar-store/

Sounds great too, drop us a PM if you need more info and we'll be happy to help... :)

I think the OP needs to be sure what kind of exhaust he wants, because the K1 and K2 are extreme opposites in terms of sound and noise levels. K1 does 104db bungs out and K2 is just a little over OEM noise levels.

From the looks of things, I reckon he just wanted cheap

Best thing to do is go to 350z meet somewhere, and listen to each individual noise. It may differ if they have decata or high flows though. Same as if they have turbo or supercharged, chances are its out ur budget and will sound different.

Descent exhaust is probs 4-600? But second hand probably pick up one for 300 to 400 that isnt terrible quality

Heres the thing...... exhaust is preference....... you go with what you like, you go with what puts a smile on your face, no one can tell you what to have on your car.... :) ive been through rotary exhausts, race pipes, cat backs, midpipes list is endless, Ive had the K1 and i didnt get fed up of it at all.... people say about the cabin noise etc you wanna try running a rb20 or having a bridgeport or streetport. Put the bungs in on the K1 the noise inside is fine. My K1 has/was been fitted perfectly heat wrapped in the necessary places so no rubbing however AVOID there decats very poorly fabricated.

Learning how to shift perfect also works wonders. you could easily spend thousands on a set up and still not be happy, grab a budget and be patient i guess :) good luck hunting.
