Alternatives to GoPRO?

Recommended Posts

I've the Sony cam myself and been reasonably pleased with it, the wifi preview is really handy and they just added 1080p/60 with a firmware update. Battery will get you a good couple of hours at 1080p/30 before it dies. My biggest gripe is the lack of mounting options without the waterproof case, but if you can find a way of doing it, you can plug in USB power to keep it going while recording (handy in the car)

Will upload some video from it tomorrow if anyone is interested?

What on earth was the first guy doing with his GP? You've seen the vids on my Euro thread, far superior quality to that!

I went for the HDH3 in the end simply because of the massive range of support and so simple to use. Quality is immense and far more than you'd actually need in truth.

I've got the GoPro 1 and the outdoor quality is spot on.... but the indoor quality is appaling, your cant see anything at all as it's so blurry. Any tips?

Buy a 3 :teeth::lol:

I'm only half joking too. The lens is so vastly improved even from 1 to 2, let alone from 1 - 3, I don't think there's a better way to get it sorted than to upgrade. Which I guess is what they really want...
