Getting few bits soon from Alex to service my Z. Dealership, i bought Z from, serviced it before i picked it up...but since I had few problems with them - so wondered if they serviced it properly and decided to service it myself and change everythng i can.

Searched and found guides on how to change gearbox/diff oils, brakes/brake fluid and so on... but cant find one for clutch fluid? unless im going blind lol

Have anyone done it and fancy sharing some information? would be much greatful :)

Vlad,

I have a hard copy of the procedure for changing the clutch fluid and proper bleed procedures.

I will scan over and post up when I have a minute, however I will include a copy with your fluids and service stuff.

Regards,

Alex. :)

CAUTION:

Monitor fluid level in the reservoir tank to make sure it does not empty.

Do not spill clutch fluid onto painted surfaces. If it spills, wipe up immediately and wash the

Bleed the operating cylinder.

1. Fill the master cylinder reservoir tank with new clutch fluid.

2. Connect a transparent vinyl hose to the air bleeder.

3. Depress the clutch pedal quickly and fully a few times and hold

it.

4. With clutch pedal depressed, open air bleeder.

5. Close air bleeder.

6. Release clutch pedal and wait for 5 seconds.

7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 until no bubbles can be observed in the

brake fluid.

I got through 500ml ish doing my one but that was with a fair bit of flushing and pipe change .

Just don't let the fluid run too low or you will lose all pressure and need to prime the slave .

Anyone else think that guys video was incredibly long. Easily can be done in a 3 minute video lol

Has anyone done it his way? Seems easier than getting under the car

Afternoon people. Just been reading this issue as its just happened to me. Guess the best thing to do is replace cylinder and fluid just to be sure... I will probably get ATS to do it as its just around the corner, but can anyone tell me how much a new cylinder will cost so I dont get shafted. Cheers
