Cheers Wjen you turn them on do they flicker very slightly first, before appearing to warm up and get brighter? Is so they're HIDs. If you have them you can buy bulbs off eBay for about £9 each. You need to buy D2R bulbs, and you just need to increase the colour temperature. I think the standard bulbs are only 4300k which are very yellow. I have 10000k in my car and they are perfect white, but i might try 12000k next time for a bit more of a bluish tint. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

x20drb Posted January 20, 2013 Author Share Posted January 20, 2013 yeah thats a good point, i think mine are hids on dipped (they do the flickery thing) but i dont think so on main beam? how can i check if they are both hids? and is that link for the dipped beams? If you have the pre facelift DE car, they have HID dipped beam and normal High beam. The facelift lights are BI-Xenon so are HID on both. WhackyWill Posted January 22, 2013 Share Posted January 22, 2013 I remember fitting just bulbs to my RX300 and it had HID for dipped and normal bulbs for main beam and all i did was change the bulb on the main beam to HID bulbs.
