Hi guys, I have brought myself an air compressor and spray gun and all the paint to respray my alloys (bear in mind I'm a complete novice at spraying) I sanded and prepped the alloys okay. Sprayed the primer no problem, then the base coat gun metal grey, however the finish is quite rough, even through the surface was very smooth before I sprayed, where am I going wrong?? Any help would be much appreciated! Dan

Yeah this is very odd, because I have all the same tyre, reasonable about of tread, no @*!# tyres, all the correct profile, I can't see what the problem is. Especially as I didn't have this problem when I did mix tyres!

There is about 3-4mm on front, then about 6 mm on rears Is this an issue

But now i have re050 front and rear :/

Hi guys, I have just swapped my tyres from MPSS (fairly worn) to Bridgestone RE050 on the rear and all of a sudden my traction control seems to kick in and dab the brakes at like 50/60 on B roads. It never did this before, also, seems too happen more often when I'm on cruise control All very annoying! Amy help would be great cheers Dan

fair enough, I would never buy one myself (have had pioneer double dins in the past and was very happy with!) however I was trying to help my mate out was wondering if it was something obvious like there not being enough power from the standard wiring? does that make sence, cheers

Hi Guys, not sure if you can help, I am just helping a mate to fit one of these horrid ripspeed dvd units to his mg, and it all powers up and works fine, but then after about 30s of playing a cd, the audio sort of drops out for a second, then comes back in, proceeds to play properly for a few more seconds then drops out again and carrys on like this, any idea why this might be? I use das-6 also, with lake country ccs/hydra pads, and britemax compounds, with mega 105 for harsh cutting

Not sure if anyone has any experience with this, but I have picked up a golf mk4 cheap, apparently the speedos been changed (typical, one with higher mileage) and needs to get reduced back to original mileage, sounds like the dark art of clocking, can I get this done anywhere? could I do it myself?
