Supratad Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Hi again I was just fitting a Dension Car Dock iPhone cradle into the car earlier this evening. Its a powered cradle with FM transmitter and matching app, but I noticed a hissing from the speakers that I did not notice before. Now maybe its always been there and I'm imaging this new kit is causing a problem, but even with the radio off and the power USB removed, the hiss remains until I remove the key. and comes straight back when I turn to ACC position. Stereo is the stock Bose, speakers are all stock too. Anyone else had this? Quote
DoogyRev Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Perhaps it needs earthing/grounding or such like Quote
Will370z Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I had this on my old zed, was a very quiet hiss. When my car went to abbey for its service i pointed it out and mark tried another zed they had there and it did exactly the same. Quote
FUG Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) mine does this too Edited January 9, 2013 by FUG Quote
spursmaddave Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Sounds like you have an ac wire too close to ine of the RCAs maybe Quote
ilogikal1 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Isn't it just that the Bose amp has a permanent live feed? Mine does it too, btw. Quote
FUG Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Any way to get rid ? Does the grounding kit option have any benefit to this problem?? Quote
Darren-B Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Any way to get rid ? ?? Get a K1 or turn the radio on  Quote
