Payco Posted December 6, 2012 Share Posted December 6, 2012 Just started to polish my engine bay today with my dremel !!!. I have a UK 06 coupe. I want to remove the cam covers to polish them and have a couple of questions I wouldnt mind some advice on before I do. There is a multi plug style connector on each cover, do i just pull the plug on these and have no other worries ?. Once the cam cover is off, is there anything in behind it I need to be aware of when I lift it off ?. I am slowly learning about basic mechanics and dont want to take on what looks like a simple job and F**k it up. Thanks again for all your responses in advance. ZMANALEX Posted December 6, 2012 Share Posted December 6, 2012 These are the VVT covers and there is a spring type seal on the inside which can be reused if you are careful.
