Looking at the pics it needs lowered. But when I saw u in clarkston today I was maybe 30 yards or so away and from that distance it looked good, not too high

But looking at the pics again I'd say lower it if u can

I didn't lower my zed for the same reasons but if it's ur weekend car then ul manage fine. My skyline is low but speed bumps become a mini assault course rather than a problem

Now I like this thread much better than that other one of late about some tit trying the sell his new aquirely Volks - reckon that needs locking eh? ;):teeth:

Looking good for starters Jay and I do like the objective you are aiming at

And what tit would that be ehh colin  Yes if you could please lock it, that would be great

Yup lexx... keeping the zed now... I test drove cayman s and m3 and didnt feel that they were 10k better than the zed. So going to keep it for a year or so and then think about 911s HOPEFULLY :blush:

:yahoo: glad you hanged your mind, good choice  love the look of those wheels and will be awesome when lowered

Lol my nephew was on YouTube he showed me a video of the white eclipse. So I put 'donked' in google images to see what the yanks were up to. Didn't realise it was such a big trend!

Hope it takes off here- would love to see donked saxos

Look dad, I turned my car into a tractor!! WTF :surrender:

Instead of buying 19s then needing it lowered and worrying about speed bumps..... You shouldve got 24s and got it donked!!:lol:

So quick update: it seems I am doomed  Most of the springs would take the car too low at the front, so that would be rubbing issues :surrender: If I am honest, I really only want the rear dropped but you have to do front and back

In an ideal world I would be able to get 10 or 15 at the front and 20 - 25 at the rear.

Would coil overs not work?

Ofcourse it would mate... but dont have £1000 to through away

Do you still need control and camber arms when going low on the 370? As obviously that would be even more.

1k? A drop in the ocean for you ;)

That is something I am unsure of mate. Ha... why does everyone think that I have loads of spare cash to through away

What profile tyres have you got on the front? As i mentioned earlier they look bigger than mine... so if you got a smaller profile then maybe the springs wouldnt cause rubbing?

So I gave the car and wheels a good wash today... I am a bit gutted I dont think I will be able to get springs to lower it ever so slight  The main reason for this is that the wheels stick out past the arches lol so if I lower say 20mm on the rear it will rub BIG TIME  So I think I am just going to have to get used to it. It doesnt look too bad but would have liked it lowered just a tad.

Ok folks I'm close to making Jay see sense. Went down today to show him my refurbed wheels. Smoked chrome finish from the wheel specialist. Quite a dark grey but a bit lighter when the light hits

Could look good with a polished lip

To add in colour without being too drastic I suggested coloured calipers. We discussed orange but I'm quite liking green

Don't know if you need a lambo to pull off green
