Mikesding
Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking of a mod something like on the Audi TT/BMW 3series. Tiny little aerial centrally mounted on the roof instead of on the back - might mock up a picture later to see how it looks. Just wondered if anyone had tried this? Or can think of any potential problem?
Ricey
Aside from the absolute ball ache of doing it, filling the old hole, having quarter panel re-sprated and re-routing the wires through the roof lining.....it should be do'able. Can't remember seeing a zed with it done before now though.

Neilp
I would just do away with aerial completely and put on inside the window or something

ChristopherJames
I did away with my aerial and have a glass mounted internal one. It does the job (not that I listen to the radio much) and with the aerial gone for me it improves the look ten fold!
goodatcrashing
Don't even need a glass mounted Aerial. I rerouted the original aerial and mounted it inside the rear cross beam. Picks up radio fine. Filled the hole to keep it all smooth. You could then mount a fake arial fin on the roof if thats the look you want. Dblock
I have a small stubby but use the internal glass aerial for dab.
