LRF4N Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 We have it easy. Be thankful we don't live where our cars were born Snow in japan- measured in metres not feet... Quote
Sam Mcgoo Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 That is impressive! I remember a few years back going to Goose Bay, Canada. As we came down to land the hight of the snow either side of the runway was above the windows of the plane! Quote
LRF4N Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 I wanna know how they found the roads under all that snow! There's a lot of bends there how do they clear it with that much precision Quote
350 Russ Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I hate to be picky but the last picture isnt japan, that was in the paper a couple of weeks back about austria. I dont think snow socks would cut it in that Quote

elfman Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I wanna know how they found the roads under all that snow! There's a lot of bends there how do they clear it with that much precision simple they're Japanese and not British, most people in Britain sh*^e a brick when it snows for no reason what so ever. LRF4N Posted February 5, 2012 Author Posted February 5, 2012 Didn't verify the origin of every photo before I pasted them. Saw a news report about 4 metres of snow in japan and googled a few images Quote
Cragus Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 We have become soft - a little bit of snow and the whole country grinds to a halt. Quote
HEADPHONES Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Those roads look scary. What happens as the snow thaws and possibly collapses. That's a whole heap of snow to possibly fall onto the road/cars and if it does fall, where do you shift it to. Side of the road is a few meters of snow high as it is. Quote

I dont think snow socks would cut it in that That's not Austria. They drive on the other side of the road there I was going to say the same until I looked at what side of the road those cars were on. The papers said that was Ischgil but I don't think it can be! Quote
