That is impressive!

 

I remember a few years back going to Goose Bay, Canada. As we came down to land the hight of the snow either side of the runway was above the windows of the plane! :scare:

I wanna know how they found the roads under all that snow! There's a lot of bends there how do they clear it with that much precision :lol:

I hate to be picky but the last picture isnt japan, that was in the paper a couple of weeks back about austria.

 

I dont think snow socks would cut it in that :surrender:

That's not Austria. They drive on the other side of the road there ;)

simple they're Japanese and not British, most people in Britain sh*^e a brick when it snows for no reason what so ever.

Didn't verify the origin of every photo before I pasted them. Saw a news report about 4 metres of snow in japan and googled a few images

Those roads look scary.

What happens as the snow thaws and possibly collapses.

That's a whole heap of snow to possibly fall onto the road/cars and if it does fall, where do you shift it to. Side of the road is a few meters of snow high as it is.

I was going to say the same until I looked at what side of the road those cars were on. The papers said that was Ischgil but I don't think it can be!
