Sam Mcgoo Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 There's always a lot of talk of how various exhausts sound and I get asked what the Vortech sounds like, so thought I'd put all my vids in the same place for reference. Maybe if everyone puts theirs in here, we will have one place of reference. My set up is Vortech S/C, Japseed Decats, Invidia G200 True dual with mid pipe resonators. I find this set up aggressive at WOT but very Quiet when cruising and when pottering about. Standing Start with little camera on rear - Lost a bit of bass due to the poor mic, but you get the idea This is how it sounds in the car; A little rev; A drive by; This one Kinetix HFC in place of decats. This is N/A (Supercharger removed) Kinetix HFC, Invidia G200 with mid pipe resonators. Quote

Wasso Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Kiingsi - it's a Motodyne XYZ pipe which runs a single race cat which is high flow and passable by the MOT centre. I then ditched the heavy restricting cats for Japspeed de-cats. The video doesn't do it justice really, where a number of people have said it doesn't sound far off a Nismo. Quote
