Anybody know where to buy Lexan Windows

My mate is a caravan sales man - bit far south for you but he sourced some poly windows through a caravan parts supplier - made to order - may be worth trying a caravan repair place nearer you?

Or someone like http://www.proglasswindows.com/

Who I was looking at when I was looking at a CF boot.

May help

Cheers chris, there is places online which do kits but theyre selling the doors and rear quarter also. Dont really wanna change them all over tbh, just the rear.

This is the wing I think i'm going for http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=VOL-TYPE-8-Z33&Category_Code=VOLTEX_WING

OMG Neil I know you said a big wing didn't think you were competing with an airbus A380

BTW I meant to give you this link http://www.gcip.co.uk/EP/lexan_polycarbonate_sheet.htm

In Coventry they are a UK supplier of Lexan not the American site soz

Lmao I told you it would be a big one. I absolutely love that red one with it in the pic.

Cheers for that mate, I will give them a call tomorrow as I could probs take the carbon boot round to them to get it done while i'm down souf of the riva

Have a look at this.

http://www.plastics4performance.com/

Personally i would shave weight between the axles first by replacing the heavy heated seats with race buckets.

I would only take weight over the rear axle to counter balance the weight gain of a half roll cage so the front to rear weight balance is maintained. Loosing the spare wheel and running half tank +/- carbon hatch with glass window is more than enough to loose supeflous pounds on the rear in a standard car IMO without affecting the bias too much

Shaving off unsprung weight eg light weight wheels is most ideal as its a ratio of 1:4 per kg shaved and you improve your aceleration and braking performance. Same goes with the Lightweight flywheel. I just changed mine to JWTs and the car has been transformed for the better :teeth:

I have dropped the seats for recaro's and stripped the interior within reason. Harness bar welded in across a beams, next is a rear cage.

I have a carbon boot which is going on with the plastic windows and the rear wing to help with handling.

Running 18" rays on track with r888's.

Getting front bush kit from horsham with adjustable top arm bushes to retain oem strength arms.

Standalone ems with 100hp of now will be fun :teeth:

Currently hunting carbon doors also but slowly running out of money ;)

Cheers for the link mate

Keep your eyes peeled on there as they pop up now and again

Ah that's the type 4 one. Ideally I'm looking for the 8 as I like the full boot mounts that go down the towards the bumper.

I'm not on any other forums except this one. Will probs order new one around feb/march time. Will see it there's any way to get it into uk at reasonable costs

No probs, I'm also looking to ship some goodies around Jan/Feb so maybe we could bundle something together reduce the shipping costs. Failing that I know bennet has been shipping a number of items recently, so if he has something coming over, join in on his box etc?

If you like the rear diffuser there's one for sale in my350z

I'm too low for a rear diffuser I think mate, I have the nismo spats aswell and cant be bothered to remove them lol.

I'm a bit paranoid about importing something like carbon from a member in another country incase it gets damaged.
