Blue tooth question

Hope I'm posting this in the correct place. Just brought a 2004 350z & wanting to use my phone through blue tooth using the buttons on the steering wheel. Can this be done easy? I've seen something on eBay but not sure if it would fit my car. What is the thing under the elbow rest?

That thing under the arm rest cubby is a bluuetooth cradle.

For Bluetooth to work, it needs to have the adapter fitted into it.

This bit shown on ebay, should be fitted into the cradle itself.

Not all phones work however. Newer phones tend to be the ones that have problems with compatibility, for example my windows runing HD7 connects however nothing else will happen. Ive read about people with similar problems on here

As Lexx says, if you have the cradle in the arm rest then all you need is the adapter

 

Mine has worked with all nokia's, HTC's and iPhones

 

Cant comment on the Win7 Phone
