Looks like im first home then!!!!!!

I went down on Friday night and met Val to get my tickets and promptly set up my tent before the heavens opened.

Id just like say a big thank you to Val and all the rest of you for making me feel welcome it was my first meet with you lot and I was very happy with how the weekend went ( except the rain ) Hopefully I will get the opertunity to attend some of the forums more regular meets so I can put more faces to names.

Mike no one else complained about my grill being dirty whilst I was there sooo :p:p p.s. you missed a bit on your rear arch but I was too polite to tell you :dance:JOKING

Also Im quite certain that the girl who looked at my car isnt really interested in my 350 think she just wanted a quick passenger ride in one, thats also a good thing because after discussing it with the misses im definantly going to be keeping it for a while longer. :yahoo::yahoo:

For those of you who didnt attend I broke in the Thor Dyno with my "z" as I promised myself I wanted it done. My car made

287 BHP

272 ftlb of Torque with a perfect flat torque line all the way through aparently it was almost perfect which is nice to know.

Anyway cheers for a great weekend guys maybe next time you will have a bit more ballz and camp over :teeth:

Nice to meet all of you & put some faces to names :D Had a great day out; with nice weather; nice blast up the A1 with no traffic, hitting some nice speeds; good company & amazing cars B) ps Tim my shoes were caked in mud & I had my wellies in the car!

Apologies for pics quality. My plan was to quicky go round & take as many quick pics of different cars that stood out before daylight fails or rain comes. After that I was then going to take my time & get some nice quality pics of the zeds on our stand along with other good pics. But godam camera batteries were un chargeable & I had left spares at home! Hopefully next I will have a better camera & not forget extra batteries.

At this point rechargeable camera batteries gave up life & had to be thrown away! Either that or pic of me did it!

Ditto for the weekend.

Despite the rain on Saturday it didn't dampen our spirits and left on a high as Val and I both won prizes in the charity raffle.

Free VIP tickets for next years JTS for me (which I would def reccomend attending) and Val won a video about rebuilding R Mazda rotary engines and some oil vouchers!

Got back pretty quick too as only had a 90 mile trip!!

Now, where is that website selling the induction kits and exhausts!!!

morning everyone! :p

overall a great weekend (saturday could have done with a bit less rain and mud tbh)

shame only myself choptop and hanel BBQd on saturday night, we had a nice dry spot under the structure there, and i stayed until the fireworks which were quite nice!

Managed to go throught the finals of the JAE Show N Shine competition, fending off A LOT of great cars, including Giles's own Z, for which i was incredibly chuffed about (considering how good it looks and the amount of £££££ money he spent on it!) but didn't win any category on the Sunday, best Nissan went to the Skyline who went through with me to the finals, and have to say it was a great looking car B)

At least I got my 2 minutes of fame (and shamelessly plugged this site  ) with our resident comedian StephenG :teeth:

I heard Mike got interviewed by JAE radio, but mssed it, heard it was quite good :teeth:

Nice to meet old and new faces alike, and my personal favourite Zeds of the day were the Envy one B) and Patto's one on the EPRacing stand :teeth:

Also found out some interesting info on the PE TT kit that Kevin has on his Envy Z... will have to start researching (and saving up.... :teeth: )

Special thanks to Ian (dunker) for helping me wax/polish my Z and Mike for doing the tyres and George (hanel) for keeping my stuff in his tent/boot most of the time! :teeth:

FInally, with 8 tickets from the EPRacing Charity Raffle, I went away with 2 prizes, can't complain for £8 :teeth: (apparently the 4 DVD set is worth about £50, it's a step by step video for rebuilding RX7 rotary engines, will try and flog it on the RX7 forum) and some 5L oil from Opie :teeth:

Good to meet everyone and put a face to some of the names.

Good few beers on the evenings with some nice food. At least dunker got to try his best ever curry, he announced. :teeth:

Big thanks to Max for pushing the T-Shirts. They looked great

Great to meet everyone at the show. I left at 11.30 pm on the Saturday Night as the local hotels had pushed up their prices due to the weather I think. Flooding stopped me getting staright through to Swindon from Oxford but after an hour trying all the side roads finally found a way through. A long journey home. Glad I attended though.:teeth:

my car was parked up across on the epr racing stand (jeff had asked me to show it the stand )

sorry if i didnt talk to every one as iam only shy (you wouldnt think so the size of me ) and both of us were a little hung over .

Val iam thinking of which bank to rob to pay for the turbo kit like kevin has on hes Envy z or sell the wife into slavery and go for a forged engine with 4.2 stroker kit :D

Hi,

Great to meet up with loads of people again, nice to put faces to a few more names too!

I think we had 11 or 12 on the Sunday, and a similar number on Saturday - quite down on last years attendance, but I think that was a story echoed by just about every club on the ground, the weather simply wasnt in the shows favour, even when it was sunny, the ground was still rather boggy.

The evenings out on Friday and Saturday were great fun, and I think all the partners enjoyed the nights out too.

I took plenty of photos during the time there, including many of Russ Swift giving us a demo of his parking skills and rather fast doughnuts (that fast the rear number plate was thrown off).

Anyway - more pictures to follow, butfor now, here are the ones taken at the Z club stand on the Sunday afternoon:

ps Stephen G's Vortech supercharged Zed engine sounded absoloutely awesome!!! After hearing him rev that like a loony my blood's been injected with the supercharger bug ;)

It did sound awesome like the HKS angry chicken sound. Cant believe at one point he said mine was a louder car than his :teeth: but it isnt at all.

For those of you who didnt know some fool tried to get Stephen to race him up the concrete bit in front of our stand what a tool :boxing: but Stephen being a normal sensible person said no and did say "thats what tracks are for" so nice one mate at least thats one chav told
