FrankstaH Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 Hi guys, I'm looking to swap from my honda civic type-r to a 350z Nismo soon. I was just wondering the general price and order of modifications to get up to 350bhp? I've not really seen much about superchipping / remaping? cheers Quote
Jez @ H-Dev Posted July 7, 2011 Posted July 7, 2011 As above - FI is the most cost effective way to get to 350bhp. Bolt on mods like de-cats, plenum spacer and a remap usually gain around 15-30bhp. You could get 350bhp staying NA, but you'd be into cams, raised rev limits (and the associated costs with that), tuned manifolds etc. Quote
Walbertonio Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Best method is this: Give Ian 4k for his HKS setup for sale on here (saving yourself 3k+?) and take it to one of the 3 UpRev tuners in the UK. Apply labour costs liberally, and enjoy up to 380bhp+ for about 6k? Quote
captain Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 Buy an Evo +1 I've spent £1.5k (filter, plenum spacer, cats, exhaust, re-map) getting to 300bhp (260 at the hubs). Move the decimal point if you want to get to 350............... Quote

rtbiscuit Posted July 8, 2011 Posted July 8, 2011 FI or buy a different car, best rule of thumb, by FI that has come from the manufacturer that way or that someone else has already done. costs spiral quickly deep pockets are needed. i would also 2nd the fact that Ians supercharger setup is probably the best around, and the best value.
